You don't know what you're missing, Mid.
I got 16 NBA World Championships. And except for the birth of my boys they are my most prized possessions.
who when their team wins a championship regard it as some kind of accomplishment that they personally achieved?
Not hating, here, really. Just an honest question. When the Spurs won, I was happy, but I didn't go all out gay like what's happening tonight.

possible answer....
1) only thing to be proud of in LA
2) bangwagoners just want to feel good
3) group mentality/too 'fans' coerce other fans into thinking the same way
4) mental delusion
Nice analysis.
I think it's because the city depends so much on the Lakers when it comes to sports. If the Lakers were taken away from Los Angeles, Los Angeles would be like a Seattle or Cleveland when it comes to sports. Laker fans should be thankful that their team has been good for so long.
they're right, a team is nothing without its fans
because they are mostly just a bunch of arrogant gots; kinda like their pseudo-"leader" in kome cryant
