4th quarter offensive execution was excellent. D in the first 3 quarters was very unremarkable. McDyess height and experience in lieu of Blair in the 2nd half was much needed.
He had like three or four turnovers in the first half if I remember correctly from over-penetrating.

Funny how many airballs you see from all players at the start of the season.![]()
Today we saw the real big 3.
lol TD with a 20-10 first game of the season, such an old man
Considering Anderson's first defensive assignment was against Danny Granger, I think he's done fairly well. With Jefferson being strapped to the bench with fouls, Anderson has been forced into handling the scorer and although Granger has 26 points on 10-19 shooting, he also has only shot 5 FTs and has 4 TOs. Good numbers, but he's had to work for his points and has hit some tough threes.
Sure, Anderson's defense has room to improve....but this is just his first professional game. He should do nothing but improve from here.
HA HA. Defense has been sharp in the 4th. How do you think they got this lead?
D good better in the 2nd half
Nice win
Tim
23 points (10-for-12)
12 rebounds
4 blocks
3 steals
3 assists
Til the Wheels Fall Off
He also has 20 points, 9 assists, and 3 rebounds, giving him an assist to turnover ratio of > 2
at least 20 each for the big three
Spot on.
I think the defense went up a notch in the 4th too.
Overall, we've played a deliberate game in the 4th when it was needed.
A solid opening to the season.![]()
Hibbert going for that double double
Now just gotta wait for one of timvp's evaluations.
Another 20+ for every member of our big three, the REAL big three of the league.
I love watching games where Manu has fresh legs. It makes for phenomenal basketball. Hopefully he'll be able to get plenty of rest this season and be Manu-esque late in the year.
Great job in the 4th, hopefully the defense looks better on Saturday.
+1000000000000000000
Read what I said in my previous post. I said he started out horrible but had a nice game overall. Reading is fundamental.
Same old, same old
