OK Bum. My list would have tea party supported candidates at 10/3/2 for win/loss/undecided. Adding those on your list makes it 13/4/2. Percentage wise, they are now 68.42%/21.05%/10.53% with your list, bettering 66.67%/20.00%/13.33% from my list.

Let me clarify my earlier point. Just because a tea party organization or Sarah Palin endorsed a candidate, it is not the same as actually receiving volunteers or money from a Tea Party organization. I don't know the status from the four I added from your list, but really. Why do you make such a big beak of it when my underlying point remains?

Joe Miller supporters flooded the write-in rolls and were able to get dozens of names added to the list.

Right now, that 41% is for ALL write-ins.

Conventional wisdom says most (enough, anyway) are for Murkowski. But, that won't be known until they are counted.

What would be cool is if there were more than one Murkowski on the write-in ballot. The voter would have to differentiate.

Isn't it also an estimated 30,000 absentee ballots to be counted?

Who said anything about tea party writing him in? My point is that enough of the write in vote might not be for Murkowski. She needs 83.4% of the write in vote to match Miller's numbers, and he is in the write in too! Even if she gets 90% of the write in, if Miller gets 6.6% of it, it's still a tie.

I didn't read his posts like that. His saying they flooded the rolls could be that he had people purposely vote for his write in name. As for being cool if voters had to differentiate, they do. If the spelling isn't close, it will be discarded. there is only one Murkowski, and nobody close to the name. I think he just trolled for the likes of you, and you took the bait. If there were two similar names, you can trust the fact would have been public.

Not everyone double checks things. If someone chose not to vote for a candidate, but it's already checked, they may not have notice. Should Reid get the blank votes counted for him?
