UPDATE: Eva's people tell TMZ Tony has not filed for divorce. But two court officials at the Bexar County, Texas courthouse tell us a divorce case was filed yesterday and sealed by the judge.

Eva Longoria Parker's rep denies a TMZ report that husband Tony Parker filed for divorce in Texas after three years of marriage. The story later disappeared from TMZ's homepage.
The Desperate Housewives star, 35, and Parker were engaged in November 2006, then wed – as fireworks lit up the sky – on July 7, 2007, at Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th century castle on the outskirts of Paris one day after a small civil service.
The TMZ site is now saying that nothing was ever filed or sealed.
"TMZ reported that Tony had filed for divorce. Two clerks at the Bexar County Courthouse in Texas had told us the case was filed and sealed by a family law judge.
But Eva's rep tells us Tony did not file and does not even have a divorce lawyer.
Another clerk at the courthouse now tells us she's in charge of sealed cases and says no such case has crossed her desk."
This is why TMZ is still an unreliable site. They don't have to verify their sources, so they post stuff immediately to break it, but often get it wrong and don't have to pay the repercussions that journalists do.

Funny thing is it doesn't even matter that TMZ (potentially) screwed up. They already have what they want - we've all visited their site, they've already received ad-dependent revenue for our "hits," and they are laughing all the way to the bank.
Most people claim to realize that TMZ is unreliable and yet we still put money in their pockets by paying attention to their sensational stories, even if they aren't credible.
And, once they post a "retraction," they get even more hits = more money. Brilliant website concept.

People magazine is barely above Enquirer status. Good for thumbing through while taking a , and not much else.
Actually, it's people that frequent TMZ that get people like us on a Spurs board to check out their site because of stupid news like this. But you have a point, can't blame TMZ if people believe the hearsay they post and sometimes get right and sometimes get it wrong.
TMZ is unreliable though because they aren't professional journalists, but instead bloggers who earn their credibility by trying to break stories faster than news corporations can, but don't have to face the consequences if they're wrong.
All they do is undermine the integrity of the guys who have gone to school to become a professional, and who have the real connections to the team. But at the end of the day, and right now, those are the guys that will most likely post the right information and whom people are waiting for.

Well the last tabloid that printed false rumors about TP and Eva got sued (when they were saying TP was cheating) by Tony. It will be interesting to see what he does this time
Just stupid gossip. TMZ got trolled by two heads who probably think they are funny. Next time they should research their sources a bit more before blowing something up in the media.
