I feel bad for the Heat...it's only November but the unrealistic expectations that their fans and the national media put on them is creating too much pressure. Bosh isn't used to any kind of media coverage so he just doesn't know how to act, while James is notorious for wilting in the limelight. Look for Wade to guide this team through their rough start, he's the only one with the sac to do it.
If the Heat really are trying to get Billups, it's a desperate panic move imo. Billups is 34 years old, can't guard a chair, and he's shooting 34% from the field and 29% from three point range playing in an offense that already gives him plenty of open looks. He is still pretty solid when it comes to tempo control, but the Heat don't want to slow it down anyway and the ball is going to be in Wade's and LeBron's hands all the time anyway. With Chauncey's age leading to deterioration of his game, the only true positive he brings is leadership. Are the Heat in that much of a mess that they'll bring in a bad older player just for that? Maybe...

Of course its fake, Billups has a a 13 million contract and the Heat got nothing to fill that kind of salary. They wont trade Haslem after him taking less money and Miller/Anthony got long sucking contracts and they arent that good either.
The rest are minimum guys, they wanna pack 5-6 of them together?
