I think he travels in this one. But it's awsome anyway.
Pd: Oski, el dibujante Oski?
You know Manu is healthy when he is finishing those plays with dunks rather than layups and scoop shots.
Damn I hope he is this healthy for the postseason.
I was at the game and it was electric. It appeared to me that a reaching D. Rose stopped the ball with his hand, so Manu adjusted.
If Rose really did touch the ball as Manu went behind his back, does that reset the number of steps towards a travel?
2 steps. Watch it again..
Crazy ing move....gotta love Manu!![]()
The impressive part of it to me was that after a disruption in flow like that, the inclination of some players is to be nonplused or just try to get the ball up to the basket any way they can...maybe drawing a foul call. Manu just fluidly rose and flushed.
FoxSW had an angle on the play from behind. Rose def got his hand on the ball. How in the did he manage to keep control of the ball?
Oh, yeah - thanks for the reminder Pop.
Agreed. And that is something Manu does consistently. One of the most incredible things I've ever seen in a basketball game was a time when Manu was running the break and his defender, struggling to get back, fell in front of him. Rather than slowing down at all, Manu on the fly altered the speed of his dribble to pass over the guy on the floor rather than hit him, and proceeded on to the uncontested layup. For Manu the play is never over until the whistle blows.
