Right now there are clearly three teams which are on-pace for 60 wins in the West. Who of them makes it?

We're definitely talking about wins brah
Don't know, but I hope L.A. and N.O. have fun battling over the scraps

even the thunder on pace for around 58.... east sucking more than expected this year
Currently, as of right now, Im cautiously optomistic that the Spurs will hit 60 wins, I just dont know how long they can keep this up.
I definately dont think the Hornets can keep up their pace. I just cant picture a 60+ win Hornets team.
The only team that I would feel comfortable saying is a lock for 60 wins is the Lakers.
Look at Phyz, actin' all fair & square in the afterglow of the winning streak.
How come? You dont have faith that Bonner will continue to shoot 70% from three??![]()
Actually, its only a matter of time before they get bit in the ass.... The whole team is shooting pretty lights out from outside. Live by the 3, die by the 3.
I think at one point in tonights game, both teams shot nothing but 3s for like a 3 minute stretch or something like that. At least, it felt that way.![]()
I can't take it no more. When Phyz starts acting gregarious it's time for old Cubby to hit the couch.
Chow!
Spurs gonna nail that barney and piss colored team to the tree of woe come the end of December you old limp bas !![]()
Cully gonna go find solace on his couch, sittin in his tighty whiteys eating cheetos and beating his meat while watching roadhouse.
It's ok cully, maybe the Spurs will lose to the Wolves on Wednesday and you can finally get back to form raging and pissing on the Spurs again.![]()
Lakers are on pace for 80-2. Greatest team of all time TBH. tee, hee
Just sittin', scratchin', waitin'.
I think the Spurs and the Hornets will have around 50-55 wins and the Lakers will get 60 I guess. There are also the Mavs who will have 65 wins and then choke in the first round.
Lakers pretty certain, Spurs sorta certain so I'm going with 2
yes. clippers, twolves and rockets. if you meant 60 wins combined..
I think Utah has a chance. Al Jefferson will eventually mesh into that offense better than Boozer ever did.
Lakers obviously.
Hornets no brainer.
Mavs with its veteran leadership.
http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/playoffodds
Hollinger's playoff odds thus far tell the following story -
Boston projected = 57-25 (Best case scenario = 73-9) Champ % = 23.8
Lakers projected = 58-24 (Best case scenario = 73-9) Champ % = 21.3
Spurs projected = 59-23 (Best case scenario = 75-7) Champ % = 21.4
Hornets, despite being 11-2, (perhaps not surprisingly) have a projected 52-30 end of season record. Their probability of winning the championship is also markedly lower (at 4.9) than that of the Lakers, Celtics, and Spurs
Lakers, Celtics, and Spurs are the only teams in the league with a "best case scenario" win > 70.
Take it for what it's worth (i.e. not a whole lot given that so little data has poured in this early in the season).
