RIP...I was too young for his time, but MNF was a great idea, so props to one of the original acts
Nah, he retired a couple years before I was old enough to follow football.
The first thing I learned to do was hate the Cowboys.
I remember being glad that Eddie LeBaron would no longer be the Cowboy quarterback
I remember him on MNF....him, Gifford and Howard still the best crew.
My pops used to always mimic that beginning line of the Willie Nelson song whenever the Lakers were for sure on their way to win. He used to tell me that Don Meredith was the reasons behind that. R.I.P Mr. Meredith!
I grew up with Dandy Don on MNF.
He always made it fun,and was a perfect counter to Gifford's solid take's.
