...The Orlando Sentinel reports that teams have been hitting up Magic GM Otis Smith’s phone inquiring about the Polish Hammer, who has a long history of longing for somewhere other than Florida.

...Teams you could see being interested in Gortat include Toronto, Portland, Houston, Denver, and the Lakers (unlikely).

...With Gortat averaging 10.7 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per 40 minutes, there will probably be continuing discussions for him, even as Orlando doesn’t know whether they’re coming or going.

Gortat has gotten progressively worse since he first started getting attention 2 years ago, but he could still be a decent starter somewhere..his potential is overrated, though..

Orlando needs to make some changes, so if they can get any assets for him in a package, might as well do it..they have a lot of bad contracts on the roster though, so their hope is slim..

So if your team had Dwight Howard and Biedrins, what would you do? Gortat is similar to Biedrins. Sorta hard to figure out. But you don't need a Gortat to back up Howard. Get a perimeter player.
