If you get drunk and bend over, Gary Neal might run into you.
Last time I spent a good amount of time in SA. DRob used to frequent Ruth Chris steak house.
Other than that, when growing up used to Elliott at the castle. Went trick or treating at his house several times (invited in once).
Used to see Elliott at the old blockbuster on NW Highway and Huebner. Its since closed down I think.
Bowen used? to frequent the post office at Lockhill and Huebner.
If you get drunk and bend over, Gary Neal might run into you.
I ran into Sean Marks at Borders in the Quarry. Ran into Robinson at a movie theater, but forgot which one. I think it was the big AMC when it first opened. Ran into Duncan, Person and mings at Full Life fitness. I think that place closed down though.
That is just about it. I don't go out much though. Just Spurs games for me. :P:
When I lived in San Antonio I lived about 3 blocks from George Gervin. Saw him outside his house all the time. The guy lives very modestly, but has a really nice Mercedes (or at least he did).
Saw Duncan at Northwoods Theater once and Zio's another time.
Saw Derek Anderson at one of the mall's one time (can't remember which one).
Saw Matt Bonner walking around Minneapolis once too the night before a Spurs game (the season we traded for him).
When I lived in Oklahoma City:
Saw Chris Paul as Verizon Wireless. Bowling Alley. Steak and Shake (with former Spur Speedy Claxton).
Saw Tyson Chandler at CiCi's Pizza. His wife was a and wanted something more upscale so they left.
Saw David West and Byron Scott at Lowe's.
Saw Shaq, Dwayne Wade and Udonis Haslem at the mall in OKC the night before a Hornets game.
Saw Pau Gasol in the mall (Grizzlies days) night before a Hornets game.
Met Dirk in downtown Dallas right after moving back to the states from Germany in '02.
Per a friend that works there the Ounce Steakhouse in Stone Oak is the hot spot this year. All the players all the time apparently, even post game meals with almost the entire team present. Ive been told the Spurs family can spend some serious coin on the wine menu at this place.
I seen Tony at cvs in the condom isle
Saw Brent at the gun shop
Seen Tim go into planet K in disguise with rasta dreads
Saw Spillter at home depot sitting on the bench.
Seen Hill at Walmart trying to developed some pics but was told no due to their naughtiness
Saw old Spur Mario E @ the liquor store
I never seen CIA Pop but I KNOW HE SEES ME.
I also seen Spurs calf tats on someone once. I was like um go SpursS <---with 2 S's
Ran into David Robinson and his wife at North Star mall. 5 minutes later, ran into Dennis Rodman at the other end of the mall.
I also ran into this guy, who says he is the future head coach of the Spurs. Said if I'm ever on Spurstalk, to look up Tjastal.

Bruce was playing with the foursome behind us on the Resort course at La Cantera on Sunday.
I work in a Luxury store and Robert Horry did a commercial there for 5 Star Cleaners I talked to him for a while, I told him about the hip check that he did to Nash in the playoffs and told him that the only problem with that hit was that it was too soft because Nash got up.
Manu,Tony, Eva, Bruce and his wife also go there sometimes and some other basketball players. I saw DRob once there also but I haven't seen Duncan. I saw Antonio Daniels buying a purse, not for him I hope.
I have heard similar things. I know RJ is a regular there and that a lot of spurs come into that place.
I went to Grant St. Pizza & saw TD there. Our cars were parked next to each other if memory serves me right. I was shocked. I couldnt say anything.
I also saw Devin Brown at Antro years back.
RC ate at the Salsalitos that my ex-wife worked at on Bandera & 1604.
Again with the Ex-wife....She waited on Ginobili at Acenar downtown.
(She also saw Tony Hawk & Will Smith there.)
Another poster reminded me...George Gervin came to my school when I was in the 8th grade I believe.
Oh yeah, & my dads ex worked for Wille Anderson a million years ago. I got a couple of autographs when I was a wee lad.
My father & I were pretty good friends with Chad Bergman the Asst. Trainer. We use to drink with him at the Irish Pub off Wurzbach & Data Point very frequently. I haven't seen him in over a year & a half or so. I always play Where's Waldo(Chad) when I watch the games.

Met my wife last night at a local Rim area restaurant for a drink for her Birthday. I told her that Sean Luck_The_Fakers_Luck_The_Fakers_Luck_The_Fakers_Lu ck_The_Fakers_Luck_The_Fakers_Luck_The_Fakers_ and Tony Parker were there to sing her Happy Birthday! She said, yeah, right?!
Turned around and there they were! The rest of the Spurs showed up later. I was wondering if it was a team Christmas Party / dinner.
I wish I had gotten a picture of her with them. Would have made her birthday! Ironic you started this thread, but it was cool to run into them.

Saw Johnny Moore at my middle school. He was there to speak, at the time I had no clue who he was.
I saw David, Malik, Johnny Moore and Devin Brown at Malik's old sandwhich shop at the quarry. All three at separate times.
Saw Dejuan and George Hill at a bowling alley.
Saw George Hill with his big entourage at 3 in the morning in a IHOP off 281.
Ate dinner at the table next to George Gervin at Los Barrios, just shook his hand and told him I was a big fan. That's it for me, but obviously I don't live in SA.
I played H-O-R-S-E with Tim Duncan at the Concord Athletic Club the summer after his rookie season, when I was 11 years old.
Def one of the best days of my life.
Whoah ! I played H-O-R-S-E against Allan Houston at the same place. Very cool guy and pretty funny too.
Which restaurant? Maggiano's?
Best Buy, HEB and PF Chang's are always good places to see Spurs players.
Saw Brent with Erin and their kids at the La Cantera playground area a year or so ago......
times they are achanging......![]()
I assume all of the shots on your turn were free throws.
if you're a person about town in SA, you will run into them all over. I used to see lots of the Spurs players when I worked at the HEB on 281 & 1604 & at the Brookhollow store.
Used to see Elliott at the Castle & various places around Lockhill selma. Same with Rodman. Been in their house whenn Rodman had it.
Used to see Timmy & R-Rob all the time at various places.
Would see many players (visiting & spurs) at Landry's when they still played downtown. Sometimes at Champs too.
Malik used to live in Sonterra (townhomes) when I lived out there. I lived 2 houses down from Russ Bookbinder.
Ran into Horry at a bar that was behind NorthStar, he was hitting on one of my friends. Ran into him at The Falls when it first opened too.
Just look around & you'll see Spurs players in SA. (mostly on the northside of town * semi northwest side too)
I remember that the "Brick" would come into a restuarant I worked at in 1990 and always tipped a 100 dollar bill. I met David when he was a rookie. I was playing that old video game "arch rivals" and just got done beating this guy, when another token hits the slot and there's a shadow standing next to me. I look over and all I see is hips, but up there near the ceiling was this guy with a buster hat on and he was wearing knee shorts. He said "mind if I play". I said "sure". I beat him too, but that was a trip.
I had Willie Anderson come to my apartment back then, he used to come by to see if I wanted to play fast pitch (using tennis balls) down at the tennis court. Weird sight, all these Porche and Mercedes sitting around a middle income apartment complex, and all these giants out playing fast pitch with tennis balls we found around the woods near the court. They called it "strike out". Willie said he used to play it in Georgia, saw me and my cousin playing and asked if they could join. I think Ninja defense dude was there, not sure, in person it's hard to tell.
I met Fabrico in Bass Pro Shops.
I used to talk to Coach Larry Brown on a weekly basis when he would come pick up his photos (I worked in a lab at that time). We would talk about the games of that week. Coach Brown is one of the coolest guys you could meet.
Saw Terry mings in a mall with his entourage.
I used to work with James Silas' son.
Never met Pop but wrote to him and got a response from him, that was cool.
The game would have never ended, he takes all day to shoot one.
