    Who would you take?

Personally, I would take Haywood. I know, I know, I am sounding like a homer right now. But even though Haywood is playing terrible right now, I still like his size and toughness over Gortat. Gortat has always looked good in a backup role but he's never proven himself as a starter. Haywood has been a capable starter in the past, and he could do it again. The trouble with Haywood is motivation, so I really hope Carlisle can get him motivated again!

Poll is coming in a minute...

They both have terrible contracts, but I think Haywood has more trade value because he's been productive as a starter before.

Gortat - Haywood is a scrub that is why even the Wiz gave up on him and Chandler has made him basically irrelevant.

I think I would trust Haywood more on the defensive end and as much as i disdain Haywood, i think Gortat is severly overrated

The Mavs tried to get Gortat despite seeing Haywood up close. That should tell you something.

No, they tried to get Gortat summer of 09 and Orlando matched the offer sheet. They aquired Haywood at the trading deadline in 10.

Ahhh, that's right. Well they did trade for Tyson with Haywood in the fold, so the point remains

You have to wait until the end of this season.

I wanna see what Gortat is able to do with 28-30min every game.

Its called "Dwight Howard"! Gortat is a baller. He's not Bogut, but he's good and he's an athlete. Most importantly, he doesn't appear to be dumb like Haywood.

mono regretted his bad behavior and asked the mods to delete all the trolling posts he made before, thats how his post count dropped to where it is from a exorbitant 20,000.

Actually he said he was going to leave at 20,000 posts, so Kori took away 19,000.
