What's our recent record against the Magic at Orlando? Seems like we always get beat down here.

When you shoot 60% there are no offensive rebounds.

I'm sorry but 25-4 teams dont play like this. The loss isn't bad, but the fact that this team is down by nearly 20 and allowing the opposition to shoot 59% is inexcusable.

Its like both teams are trying to shed their true skins.. All offense and poor defense. Even if this is a loss, this is a loss to quite a disoriented team, thats what upsets me.

We beat them last season at Orlando, I think. Manu had that huge game with about 40 pts ....

It's the same thing. We are down 20 because they are shooting 59%.

Someone sprinkled fairy dust on the Magic tonight - no way they're that good a team.
Getting rid of passionless softy Rashard Lewis will do that to you.

I don't understand this great D from Splitter people are seeing. When Howard was out there he had alley-oops and basically moonwalked to the basket and laid it in when Splitter was guarding him.
Howard makes a lot of good defenders look foolish. He dunked the ball over TD head at the buzzer for good measure. His improved post game + Splitters lack of experience vs. Howard is no doubt a factor. Howards size and strength is also a factor. IMO he made Dice look silly too and hes our 2nd best post defender.

This is the type of game you'd expect last year. This year's version of the spurs, I would have expected to at least put up a fight.

Splitter doing/showing more in a few possessions than Blair has done with his minutes.
You just had to mention Blair huh. In his short time, Blair has looked good today

    it happens.

orlando aint a bad team, and they lost a tough one to the mavericks the other night, so you know they are gonna put up some numbers.

i dont get to watch the spurs much, and its strange to see a team hang almost a hundred on them through 3 qtrs. it used to be tough to get 60 on them through 3 qtrs.

i expect to see the defense tighten up as the season goes on.

right now they strangely remind me of the suns a few years ago when they were allowing 110 pts a night but still winning

When 21 yr old Blair makes mistakes he's dumb but when 25 yr old Splitter does, he's just learning? Double standards?
