I did the math for you. 16/3.5* = 4.57
*Strike shortened season.
no surprises here, if your franchise is favored and Privileged* as the huge market Glamour team the LA Lakers its nothing special- to be in the Finals one out of every 2 years in NBA history (yeah no coincidences there) as you automatically know you are going to get any key players you need and will not have to go more than a few years at a time without Contending for the le.
in comparison, there has never been Any franchise in pro sports like the Spurs who, despite being a Tiny market franchise, with no draw whatsoever for big free agents, with no media coverage/praise, no helping hand by the refs/officiating, have managed to- through sheer smarts and brilliant drafting managed to 'get in the way' of the big media agenda to the order of FOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS.
we are the Envy of every non-LA-Boston franchise in the league and all of pro sports.
the ***LA Lakers** can win `161719...8079' les and it will always carry an **** by them, because the rest of the league knows they were born with a Silver Spoon and therefore their 'wins' carry far, far less weight than those by franchises such as the Spurs, Pistons and Rockets.
I did the math for you. 16/3.5* = 4.57
*Strike shortened season.
That wasn't funny. Show some respect for a change dumb-ass.
16 les for Lakers
3.5 les for the Sp*rs
Actually, it should be 3.61 les. The equivalent of 50/82 games played in 1999.
16 / 3.61 = 4.43
So every one Sp*r le is worth 4.43 Laker les.
Math is power!![]()
lets do the math.
Lakers franchise has been around twice as long, often in a league with only 8 teams: 16/2 = 8
1/3 those ' les' were in Minneapolis: 8/3 = 2.66
account for fixed Gasol 'trade': 2.66 - 2 les = 0.66 les
Spurs: 4 les the old fashioned way
4 >>> 0.66
eat mongoloid hahahahahahhhaahha
More butthurt.com. That's one busy website around these parts.
*Same franchise dumb-ass. But whatever floats your pink boat.
haha. thats like saying kevin durant's OKC Thunder challenged jordan in the '96 NBA FInals.
No, it is not. The Lakers franchise moved from Minny to LA. But of course you trolling now, so the joke is on me.![]()
I'm sorry you were saying something...please fill out this form and get back in line...

Well, the Lakers have a history of GREAT draft picks.
Actually there's only been a few that weren't totally bombs.
The Spurs draft better than any team in the league, but they don't send out mercs to bring back other team's best players. Rambis is on that mission now. Memphis has been robbed already.
How many former Laker's assistant coaches or players are now head coaches? Now let's look at the Spurs....
You cannot argue against the fact that the Spurs have a much better basketball organization than the Lakers, even though the Lakers have more money to bring in players that probably wouldn't go to another team (Shaq/Pau). Those two guys account for your last 5 rings. Kobe is just the benefactor.
Co-signing this MF.
If you have to co-sign that means the initial purchaser has bad bad credit and is not a credible source...therefore you put whatever little credit you have remaining at risk my aligning yourself with the original loser....ya dig.![]()
After reviewing your application, we would like to say that you are more than qualified to join our Krew. Congrats on the membership.![]()
I thought I was in the Butthurt committee.
couldn't agree more. All 100% true and factual. Funny that lakers fans brag at all... I mean what's to be proud of? When you're so heavily favored by the powers that be, you're SUPPOSED to win. It's embarassing when they don't. Lol most recently '04 and '08lol in losers
lakers have always needed the extra help to get to where they're at. Lakers are like your mom's favorite kid who's re ed and need all the help they can get. San Antonio Spurs= Gilbert Grape. Lakers=Arnie. nuff said!
That's the reason they said that if Lebron would of stayed and won a le in cleveland, it would equal like 3 championships because the Cavs are playoff/final virgins. The les carry more merit would you win them the old fashioned way.
The most impressive championships won the past 10 years are the Lakers first 3-peat with Shaq, the Spurs 3 championships and the Pistons 2004 NBA finals thumping of the Lakers, and Bostons thumping of the Lakers in the 2008 NBA finals, great defense won those series. The Lakers have been blessed with the Pau Gasol trade, Bynum developing into a solid player, Odom playing smart and Artest signing on the cheap. Kobe is an amazing player but to say that he doesn't have a solid supporting cast that was sort of given to him at his request is bs. Kobe wanted to be traded and the Lakers made a move to please Kobe and keep him in Los Angeles. The Lakers played a great series to win the 2010 NBA championship, but good fortune prevails yet again. If they stay healthy and the rest of the leagues best teams are healthy to win it in 2011 and 3-peat will be the Lakers best championship to date, that would really impress me.
The Celtics are stacked again this year with all that talent and almost beat the Lakers in the NBA finals last season. They beat the Lakers soundly in the 2008 NBA finals but with Garnett, Allen, Pierce they took a page out of the Spurs book.
The Spurs did all that through the NBA draft, very impressive championships. The question is can they get past the Lakers out West and have a shot to win a fifth NBA le, would be great if they did.
No doubt though Lakers, Boston have been stacked with talent. Now Miami, Orlando. Can't argue that at all. The Spurs are the team that has some solid talent but they aren't stacked like all those other teams. It's always nice to see them win it all.
Every NBA team has to beat that stacked NBA team in Los Angeles first with the amazing Kobe Bryant leading the way. The 2011 NBA le goes through LA, if someone out West wants it they got to beat them. If the Lakers make the NBA finals in 2011 whoever waits them has to beat them. Lakers are the defending champs, stacked or not. The team to beat.
