Bump vote for timmy
Voted?
I guess nobody is as keen as me to keep Tims streak alive?
after todays game i feel like recanting my gasol vote for duncan but then i realized kevin love is a beast.
Love is defenseless, a self promoter and he plays for on one of the worst teams in the league. He has no business being in the All-Star game and neither does Griffin.
Anthony, Duncan, Durant, Gasol, Nowitzki and Odom, should comprise the Wests' front court, with Bryant, Ginobili, Parker, Paul, Westbrook and Williams, in the back court.
Ginobili is a lock. Parker is 50/50. If they feel obligated to go with another big, he won't make it. If they go with a sixth guard, it's between him and Nash.
I did include a center; two, in fact. Duncan and Gasol. Yao will win the fan vote, only he won't be able to play due to injury. So what will inevitably happen is Gasol will slide to center and Nowitzki will be inserted into the starting lineup by the coach. Then the coaches will select Duncan as the backup center (he's listed as a forward on the ballot, but coaches can pick a player based on the position they primarily play and after Gasol, Duncan is the clear cut best center option in the West). That will allow them to forgo selecting a token true center and free up one more spot for a more deserving forward or guard.
I think this is the first time ever i havent voted in the All-Star ballot... it was hard to summon the effort when i saw Yao, Bynum and Haywood heading the list for Centers.
