You're right...
The Spurs beat the Lakers, but there's no reason for any trash talking here tonight. The Spurs just came out against a team they were supposed to beat, did what they were supposed to do, and beat them. No big surprises here tonight. I think for the last 3 seasons, the Lakers have wanted to come out and get bull calls, shoot some bull shots, and get everything handed to them. Now, they are probably the 7th or 8th best team in the league and will not even contend for the championship this year.
Nothing personal against the Lakers, no one expected them to win tonight and they didn't. No need to trash talk. No big surprises. The Spurs just did what they were supposed to do.
Again, the Spurs just took care of business tonight and this win was not a big deal. There are other teams the Spurs are more concerned about than the mediocre Lakers.
