And thats why I will NEVER respect the lakers. They are gifted beyond belief from the NBA to the point where it looks like the WWF or some .
I hope they turn into the equivalent of the Cowboys.
when they can do it without gifts, my thoughts might change.... but I dont think they will ever be able to do it without help from the NBA.
Fact remains laker fans, its a business and your team is top dollar in the NBA. Without that, you would be . Thats what makes it so much more amazing that a small as market like ty San Antonio has won 4 rings, soon to be 5.... or Detroit whooping that ass to ring in 06 despite the lakers putting together the first super team, which you s love to on miami for doing. And yes, I hate Miami just as much as I hated that laker team.
I find it ing funny when laker fan says Stern wanted the Spurs to win. Its so ing stupid to even think that business wise, nevermind that the Spurs are supposedly the most boring/old team in the league (at least thats what the 4 letter ty sports station feeds to the sheep).
NOTHING laker fan can say deminishes the FACT that Stern would love to have a Laker vs Laker matchup if it was up to him. As long as Stern is holding the reigns, the made lakers will get awesome players for pennies on the dollar.

It helps my anger though that the Spurs whooped on that ass tonight though.
When Kobe is making cross court passes to open teammates for 3's or pick and roll layups, I know it's going to be a long night, but when Kobe comes out and shoots 7 or 8 in a row without even looking at his teammates, I get that warm, fuzzy feeling that pre-Pau post-Shaq Kobe is in the game.
My team can beat Kobe on any given night. Beating the Lakers is much, much more difficult.

Kobe hasnt been the same since gm 7 of last yr, but he is not done by far! But he is getting old! The Lakers thought it was gone be easy i think. But to disrespect basketball an say the best in this era is done is just silly. I was mad that the Lakers team didnt give us a better effort. But one thang you shouldve taking from this game like the Celtics last yr is, height is something you cant teach!
Well now..LA losing 3 in a row is even more proof that it's all a fluke...Losing to the Spurs without Duncan (excuse me Mr. 2 points) is the same as losing to the Bucks without their point guard...The losing is all a fluke and if I was Spur fan I would look at it as such...If LA can look like in 3 consecutive games and Duncan still can't manage more than 3 points it should be more of a concern for the Spurs than LA..because we all know that SA can't duplicate that performance from their scrubs come money time...
Many times, KoMe goes for 35+ and Lakers still lose, because nobody else is sufficiently involved, getting touches, which do wonders for a player's energy.
