Phil Grandpa Jackson is such a drama queen.
I think you don't remember that season very well.They started 20-10 without Pippen.
Caffey and Longley were the starters in the paint.Randy Brown,Buechler,La Rue,Wennington......yes,he had an amazing bench.
Pippen only played 44 games.He began to play in January if i'm not wrong

Damage control, TBH nothing more. Phil has been known to coach his players publicly. Make no mistake, the terms "screw" was the right word Phil was looking for when he was interviewed. Frustration often releases the bare truth.
