Well... hopefully the Knickerbockers cool off before the Spurs do.

Interesting game.

Spurs zone defense seemed to affect the Knick offense for a little bit there.

The spurs are (overall) awful at zone, though, probably because they don't go to it that often in actual games.

I'd rather not have the game hinge on the spurs putting up a solid zone defense.

No you are right, 72 pts in the first half and went on to win the game. I think they only allowed 37 in the second half.

I wasn't sure...

I guess we'll see that in a few articles tomorrow comparing the spurs and Heat...

For people not quite worried about Tim, in a game with 141 points and 60% shooting, Tim has the worst FG% out of anyone that has played. Only three players are less than 50% total.

This is against Turiaf.

Could you quit bashing Duncan every game. His stats over the last ten games are very good ... Spurs can win without him. And I think Turiaf is a good defender, otherwise he has no reason to be on an NBA team ...

It's a tough game to rebound for the bigs. Lots of long ball and long rebounds too. Plus it's hard to rebound when the other team rarely misses.

It's not bashing Tim to worry about him. When he puts up these games against inferior lines like he has done very often this season, it is worrisome to me.

I have posted Tim's advanced stats to argue for him. It's not a stats thing entirely. It is an "eye ball test" thing.
