Given what we've been told so far, it is likely Congresswoman Giffords was shot with a high velocity round at close range and that it neither expanded or over-pressured the skull before exiting out the other side.
A through and through wound that was probably cauterized by the bullet as it passed through.
Since we're hearing she was responsive and, at one point, talking; it's entirely possible she'll have no lasting effects of the injury.
That would be awesome.
Giffords is the only member of Congress with a spouse on active duty. Her husband is a NASA astronaut and a Navy pilot.
If there wad a guy with a conceiled piece no doubt he'd be detained as well
I don't. I want to know exactly what he was thinking and what led up to when he decided to shoot up a group of people and killed at least one person.

I want to know why he did it - that's why I said interrogate him. But once they ascertain his motive - take him out and put him down like a rabid dog!
