Great the Mavs get a player softer mentally and physically than Bonner who shoots worse than Matt these days and even plays worse defense and who also when push came to shove choked in playoffs - IT IS ALL GOOD!

It's hard to criticize Mavs for this likely signing. Spurs have also look for a SF since the start of the season. When you consider that they try Bobby Simmons, Danny Green, Ime Udoka and Larry Owens, it shows the lack of quality of the SF FA pool. Peja surely looks like the most interesting SF available.

Spurs won't even consider this s of a player. The last time he did anything of worth as Game 2 of the 2000 WCF.

So the waiving of Peja is part of the trade for Ajinca.... nice way to get around the salary cap. Cuban cutting the Raptors a check for the buyout as part of the trade too I presume?

Peja for Ajinca is good for the Raptors.

Looks like they may not have gotten around it after all.

With any luck they'll get caught out and lose a draft pick or two.
