Edson Puddle is off to Germany. I don't see how this is better than posing for LA

Buddle is set to sign with German second division side FC Ingolstadt, sources told SBI on Saturday evening. Buddle was en route to Germany to finalize the contract with a club currently battling relegation in Bundesliga 2. -SoccerByIves

Sadly they couldn't hammer out a deal to play this game in Seattle, but USMNT will take on Argentina on March 26 at New Meadowlands.

We'll also host Paraguay on March 29 in Nashville. SI soccer columnist Grant Wahl says we can expect close to top squads as the US prepares for the Gold Cup.

I saw you guys released your roster - is it your A-team? We're sending what amounts to our rookie development squad, which I'm happy with at this point in the cycle.
i just checked because i hadnt seen it, its more like a C team. only one guy that went to the WC is on it, and he was a sub (but played). i'm surprised bielsa didnt call up his favorites for his last game. still, i think they will play their hearts out because it is his last game and people here are very upset about that. If the US is playing a development squad, I expect Chile to win handily because they want to send Bielsa off with a win.

I predict a 0-0 draw, we're pretty good about producing those.

its entirely possible, I don't mean to be disrespectful to the US team. Its just that there is a lot of commotion with the coach leaving because of (club) politics, the players, press, everyone is upset. You go to a bar and middle aged women who have never paid attention to futbol are discussing the injustice of it, even government officials have been pointing fingers and begging for him to stay. That's why i think the players will play hard regardless of who is going, and why I thought before that w/o Bielsa Chile would lay an egg.

You can't replace someone that was never given a chance. More like Findley's replacement.

And I'm not even close to wanting to replace Jozy. However, I am stoked to see some Teal action and some Aguedelo action tonight!

    Lineup:

USA LINEUP (4-5-1): GK Nick Rimando; Ds Sean Franklin, Tim Ream, Omar Gonzalez, Zach Loyd; MFs Jeff Larentowicz, Dax McCarty (captain), Mikkel Diskerud, Alejandro Bedoya, Brek Shea; F Chris Wondolowski.

USA available subs: GK Sean Johnson; Ds A.J. DeLaGarza, Anthony Wallace, Marvell Wynne; MF Eric Alexander; Fs Juan Agudelo, Teal Bunbury.

Not in uniform: GKs Dom Cervi, Matt Pickens, D Ryan Miller; MFs Eugene Starikov, Sam Cronin.

Agudelo and Bunbury on the bench to start. Happy to see Diskerud start. Will be pretty interesting to see how this mid works out and Wondo can put the ball in the net so hopefully they US scores early.

Finally got the ESPN3 feed working.

I was reading that apparently Real Madrid had interest at one time in Brek as a CB. I wonder if Bob would consider it.

I thought Cervi would've gotten the nod.....maybe in the second half. Same with Starikov.....pumped to see the young core of US players.

    B-/C team today???

Cervi not dressed today. Look for Sean Johnson in the second half.

This is definitely the D team (as in Development)

There was a lot of talk about how they saw him play a game in training at CB and he was amazing. I don't know though.

This team appears stricken by the same ailment as our A team: lack of 1st touch

But DAX with a killer strike! Love the aggressiveness. Bradley, Deuce, Holden only ones who usually take that shot

Holy ....that was almost a golden goal from Mccarthy.

Brek at CB wouldn't surprise me. US players get misjudged positionally, don't they? Spector is now bagging goals in the midfield lately
