Dallas had an impressive win against the Lakers but none can be credited to Dirk then they lost a terrible game against Chicago. I jumped the gun to quickly so I'm going to back off with my MVP pick. Dirk is still very much in the discussion but the mavs need a strong second half.

Lebron IMO quickly becomes the best candidate, followed by Rose then Wade. Amare & the Knicks, as I've expected has fell down on earth losing the last 5 games.

    Lebron
    Rose
    Wade
    Dwight
    Kobe

    Dirk
    Durant
    Amare

With last night's brilliant performance against the Nuggets, I think its time to put Kobe back in the Top 5. I believe the Lakers are now 9-2 in their last 11 games and Kobe in his last 7 has been really efficient ( Averages of 23.1 PPG 5.5RPG 6.4APG 54% FG).

Season is still young, but Lebron appears to be the front runner, with Kobe as a possible darkhorse pick.

Take Kobe off your Top 5 list and put CP3 and we have a deal.

I wouldn't consider Lebron MVP for much this year. The Heat would be a playoff team without him. He's capable of making a poor team into a really good one, but Miami isn't built in a way that lifts him up above other players in the league like Cleveland did.

So, I would say the MVP would be someone who's made the biggest difference for the team they are on, and that would be Joey Crawford.

    1. Dirk

That's it and it's not even close. Rose has had a great year, but the Bulls are pretty stacked.

I like Rose because of the injuries to Boozer and Noah.

Howard's team hasn't played well enough in my opinion.

Dirk had a great shot till his injury, but he's in the race.

Lakers have underachieved a bit for now. Heat too.

I think Rose would be the pick.

I like CP3 over Howard as well. Dirk is up there too. But Rose is my number one.
