He's just shooting some shots, winning the games he's supposed to win. No surprises here

You mean you totally expected this ?

    He just won another game...

I mean yeah, any striker given the passes he's given will have a great chance to score.. but it's the position he puts himself in and the difficulty of those finishes that has impressed me the most..

What's impressive is how he moves without the ball. He's always looking to exploit the defense.

I watch a lot of Mexican soccer on Saturdays and Sundays with my dad (mostly Monterrey and Tigres games), and holy man is Chicharito a breath of fresh air. Today's MTY vs Atlas match was one of the worst matches I've ever seen.

How about America and Chivas? The two most popular teams who supposed to be at the top are mediocre at best right now.

Chicharito and Carlos Vela are the only two Mexicans since Hugo Sanchez to score two goals in a Champions League game. Yet, while Chicharito is rising, Vela still remains in the mud.

Chicharito doesn't surprise me in the least, but Torres's place on that list certainly does. Probably due to not following world soccer until essentially a year or so ago. Henry's placing is quite impressive among the ratios, given how many goals and games he's played.

I doubt he'll be able to sustain this incredible ratio... and he still needs to work on his playmaking skills... that said, this feat is quite impressive... Furthermore, Hernández hasn't had the benefit of taking any Penalty Shots, despite the fact that he's been awarded 4 over the course of the season - and it's not that Chicharito is incapable of making his own PKs but rather that Sir Alex Ferguson has opted to give them to players with higher seniority (Giggs, Rooney, etc...). On top of it all - he's managed to score 5 game winners (3 of them on the road)... 7 if you count Champions League. That is rather difficult to do and a credit to his nose for the ball, positioning and fearlessness (the "moment" doesn't faze him).

Javier Hernández should be the front runner for the EPL's Young Player of the Year award.
