Nah...I think they look too hyped. They know it's a big game and they're coming out excited and in a rush with everything.
I'd describe what you said as nerves. We're talking about the same thing!

Lakers read the scouting report on Neal. They're crowding him on that 3 point line. No daylight whatsoever to get a shot off. Now Hill is feeling it though.

I agree with you. It's not really nervousness. I think the Spurs are playing with a boner.

ty execution by the Spurs on both ends of the floor. If the Lakers start making some of their clean looks we're in trouble. Not one of our layups has fallen.

Spurs need to keep doubling Bynum..not because he's that good, but he usually handles double teams very poorly..the problem with that last one is that they sent like 3 guys to double..sending 1 guard to double is fine, don't let Blake get an open 3, Bynum has a hard time passing..

With our offense not yet clicking, we're still ahead by three, 29-26. Not bad. But we are better than this.

Splitter has been phenomenal on defense so far. I don't know what game some of you guys are watching claiming he's playing like " ."

    He's been terrific on Bynum.

Splitter is doing a great job keeping Bynum away from his comfort zone in the post. And the help D has been excellent. This is the Splitter I hoped to see.

Manu is forcing it too much. Parker is going to have to bring it when he comes back in.

Very very very very impressed with Neal's help defense. It's disrupting the Lakers postgame.

This has been the case for weeks now..

Neal struggles without Bonner in the lineup, since the spacing is worse now, so other teams can key in on him, considering he's the top 3-point shooter on the team(with Bonner out)..he isn't getting the same open looks, due to the scouting report and the absence of Bonner, which emphasizes the fact that the Spurs don't shoot too much in the paint these days..

Splitter isn't backing down and playing physical on Bynum. I thought the first foul on him was bull but he's staying aggressive which he needs to do.

He's playing great tonight. Other games I watch he's played like . I hope he keeps this up though, I love his effort if nothing else.

I agree, I thought that first foul was a "rookie" foul for Splitter. Not warranted.
