Dude you were right about me, rushing for a frat was a stupid idea that involved me pretending to be something I wasnt. I have a lot to figure out in life and im sure as not gonna do it on spurstalk or talking to people on the internet. if you're racing somebody 1 on 1, there's so many glitches, you can rarely just go as fast as you can and win unless you're playing somebody who sucks.
If you're playing an easy race (like Moo Moo farm, Luigi's raceway, etc) you pretty much have to be close behind the guy the whole time to assure you get a good item for being in last place, then hold the star or golden mushroom til the very end and then pass him.
