    I guess.

Now they need a backup PG and a miracle that Shaq can anchor their frontcourt for the rest of the season + playoffs.

The Thunder/Celtics trade is a good news for Spurs. Green was a match-up nightmare for Spurs.

I think Perkins is alot more hurt than what people would like to believe, he's tweaked that bad knee a couple of times allready since coming back. I think Boston figures that the ONeals have the center spot covered in the playoffs with big baby.

Does anyone have any idea's what it would take for the Spurs to get Shawne Williams out of the Knicks, decent player that has made a couple of dumb moves and is redeeming himself would go great here, especially since he's athletic and would fill in great at the back-up sf position.

It's actually a great move for Green. He's an ideal 6th Man, not a starting 3/4.

This really just tells me how much they believe in Big Baby and his growth defensively. He's the guy they want in closing games with the Big Chihuahua.

Being that the Thunder are a young and very tight-knit team, I wonder how this trade will affect the emotional makeup and overall psyche of the squad?

That's the only thing that makes sense.

Edit: Just read a rumor that the Celtics are going to pick up Troy Murphy.

    Good call. Definitely a possibility.

Gotta wonder what kind of shape he'd be in, though. Judging by what he looked like the last time we saw him on the court, my guess is round.

And I would have loved to have had whatever problems Mayo had. Sham was right on the money with his Grizz take. Hilarious - they've gone Full Re .

I thought it expired at 15:00 on Thursday 2/24 in the US. We've got another 11 hours 15 minutes.

Injuries really drove the trade from the Cs point of view. They recently learned that their back-up 3, Daniels, is likely lost for the season, and Perkins' knees were acting up yet again. For a team staking a lot on this year, and which has relied heavily on the Davis/KG tandem (with success btw) anyway, I see why they make this trade. Plus, the O'neals should probably give them something come playoff time.

I don't understand the thunder blowing it up like that. The nazr trade makes sense and is a good one. The Perkins deal makes no sense.
