I have a friend that was on AI season 1 (with Kelly). You get stuck into all these contracts and stuff... you don't want that. It is good exposure but... eh... although sometimes he still gets checks from AI so I guess that's a good thing.

American Idol sucks...i'd never try out for it. Most of the time they don't even choose good talent just if the person looks good or not.

Not ALL of those people are picked based on looks. Constantine...FUGLY, Bo Bice...FUGLY... well they're not that talented either... so yea... who knows. lol

They should have done Season 1 and then stopped... it is getting out of hand. They pick the worst singers so they can have all these horrible auditions in the first couple of episodes. It's really stupid. This show is supposed to be about talent...not who can sing the worst.
