He was not clutch in the 4th against OKC today.
Good to see knicks relevant ... NY vs. Miami, Bulls or Celts would be amazing ...
He was not clutch in the 4th against OKC today.
He was when he needed to be ...
Yep
Im not a NYK fan, but I missed watching a compe ive Knicks team
OKC epically choked that one away, that's how the Lakeshow won
?? Kobe sucked against the Bulls down the stretch of both games...a lot of bricks and turnovers.
Knicks aren't as good as they showed tonight..they played like it was game 7, while Miami was coasting, which was evident by the shot selection and at ude from both teams..Knicks will take a while to be a consistent team IMO..
Miami's coasting problem might not be solved until they get a new coach, unfortunately..the only reason the Heat will have a chance this year, is because the other elite teams are all flawed and old..
The Heat's big 3 is significantly better than New York's..Miami had a size advantage, they had better role players, yet they were still only able to put up 80-something points against the Knicks defense..that's on the coach..
Probably. I disagree with going to Wade. he maybe more clutch ...but Lebron is the most dominating force and is the only sure-fire mismatch from a physical standpoint.
Put a small guy on him though his post ups sucks, he is too big and strong. go big? he can blow by you but he has to be money onthat 15 -18 footer or they will play him for the drive ...
the knicks.
they can keep melo, i want chauncey back
This guy.
e Lee is so fake..he was at Lakers games when the Knicks were sucking, subtly cheering for LA..look at him now..
Im not saying he was golden ... I ALREADY said Harlem was right.
Just saying if I take those games that mattered most Im OK with how he has been in the clutch. Last year he was good is most games this year we have seen some flubs ... but i will take what we have gooten. If you disagree good for you. I have missed maybe 5-6 games all year including today's game while flying from DFW to saint louis but by all acounts he sucked in the 4th but hit 2 key shots ...i heard some calls were missed but all i have seen are highlights and ESPN gamecast update sat teh airport ...
Yeah, 3 for 9 with 2 TOs is clutch when "you need to be."
This is the problem with you Kobe fans. You reduce a whole game or quarter down to one moment when Kobe makes a big play, while ignoring his previous missteps.
Despite what the media tells you and what you believe, there is no such thing as "when it matters." The whole game matters, from the opening tip to the final buzzer.
Was that for the Kobe do entary vs SA about 2 years back?
GB, love your Avy ...there are finer females but I have always been sweet on her ...and that wink ...man ...I would move mountains to tap that ass ...
I live in NYC...the media explosion over this is going to be so unbearable...
Dont put me in that category read above ... I did NOT see the game ...the OKC game i referred to was the last one in staples ...
Personally I can give a what the media says some thinkw he is clutch others do not. Go read henry Abbott and some other cats ...they have very valid (to some) data on why he is not. It's just an opinion, no need to get all bent out of shape, Mid! did kobe fyuck your wife? Who cares? We all have our opinions we state them and move on ...
Kobe is not clutch, we got it. No need to quote stats. those that think he is you won't sway them. Those that think he is not don't need the proof ...
Most of the celebrities are like that ...Maria Manunnos was flaunting her Celts pride in LA last week dont remember that before Celts won ...
Even with L.A. fans tough to distinguish the die-hards besides Snoop, Cube, Jacks, Andy Garcia, leo and a few others. some go because they want to be seen it's a status symbol.
Your opinion doesn't exactly lend credibility to that claim.
These next 10 games will make or break Miami..
Orlando
@ San Antonio(b2b)
Chicago
Portland
Lakers
Memphis
San Antonio
OKC
@ Atlanta
Denver(b2b)
They won't be able to stat-pad against ty teams like they have been doing all season..they will have to actually play organized basketball and play with motivation..
Spoelstra's job for next season is probably on the line here..
Mid is probably writing an essay right now to reply back.
Any other true diehards besides Jack Nicholson?
Not bent out of shape.
But I do hate the way the media and fans exaggerate the concepts of "clutch," and "when it matters," which refers to the last moments of a game. Of course those moments are going to be more remembered and sensationalized, but they do not matter more than the first moments of a game.
