The joke is that Oklahoma City's best Seafood Restaurant is probably Red Lobster (a chain that doesn't really have "authentic" seafood) as oppose to Boston which has a bunch of authentic Seafood Restaurants given the region it's in.

Red Lobster is a big restaurant chain that serves very generic sea food dishes in many ways it's like the McDonald's or Burger King of seafood, with the same type of restaurants, similar decoration, nation wide ad campaigns and identical menus just without the the self service fast food aspect (although in all fairness the food is better than at McDo & Co.).

So for anybody who appreciate good seafood it's something of a let down.

Funny thing is though that I have a couple of clients from Serbia that insist I always take them for diner to Red Lobster whenever they come to the NAB show in Vegas. They are crazy about the jumbo shrimps (and they don't believe me that other restaurants have those too )
