gotta go to bed Kool. Just don't forget you're nothing but an uneducated inner city teen. The good thing is, I'm on your side. Looking to fund and eliminate the likes of you on message boards across the US.
loser ain't leaving...Let him put up cash or shut up....that's the only bet I'm making...Kori can moderate the cash settlement much like she did for Luva and Jag...incidentally Luva put up 2k - grand and no Spur fan had the balls to step up and take the bet...
gotta go to bed Kool. Just don't forget you're nothing but an uneducated inner city teen. The good thing is, I'm on your side. Looking to fund and eliminate the likes of you on message boards across the US.
You took all that ing time to give me an answer like that.... The good ole old supply and demand response huh...China....China is just a tip of the iceberg when it comes to prices...there's also a ton of projections regarding current developing nations that we've been competing with for years that's now affecting prices...but Tipsy my wigga it was a 2 part question and you answered the first part with a relative easy supply and demand quip....fair enough but of what main specific type of commodity...(and you better not ing say oil either) I'm basically giving you the answer here...
But I also wanted to know about the components of gas prices affecting US consumers at the pump...that was the 2-part question. We'll move on to more the more difficult rounds soon...
this isn't 1865...Nat Turner was my hero...my ancient forefathers I'm sure had a hand in killing your slave master kinfolk....but ahhh the good ole days when all you had to do was say it and they'd actually beleive it....I bet you want your country back to right....
You and your tea party brothers are some of the dumbest real mur-cans alive....
![]()
whatever mutha er...you remembered that label you saw on the bananas at Walmart and decided you knew where most American produce was imported...you can't troll your way out this ass kicking now...
![]()
Post a reply losers....I got other bidness to attend to this early morn...getting ready to make some online international stock transactions....get at me later...lol
ok I'm back for a quick min...dam you wiggas still in this thread...You must be doing a ton of research to formulate an answer in response....now I know you don't know what the you're talking about...prolly reading a whole gotdam book to make yourselves seem smart...even if you're researching it doesn't take that long unless your editing your plagiarized material... lol
No, I correctly stated that we import most of our produce from South America, which was backed up by the statistics your chimp brain was to feeble to correctly add up
And to this day, you still don't get the fact that how much produce or other goods we import from Mexico, or anywhere else, was irrelevant to the conversation we were having, which was about immigration and its affect on the US labor market.
You are one very stupid mother er.
Now, should I copy-and-paste some quotes for you to fall for again?
Oh, and I'm still awaiting that apology.
Here, Kool, let's show everyone how I wrecked you:
Irrelevant. But nice job wasting your time typing all that out. You got this debate thing down pat
This is an old, cliched, now obsolete argument that's straight out of the progressive (I doubt any rational thinking progressive would even resort to this as a counterpoint anymore) playbook, often trotted out by those who would rather appeal to emotion than analyze things logically. Do you understand that we now import most of our produce from South America? You can't find a peach, banana, pear that isn't stamped with an "Imported From Chile" sticker.back on topic though...if you really want to do an economic analysis you need to draw up an economic model that shows exactly what will happen should the illegals leave. Sky-rocketing costs across the board is what will happen...and that's not what we need...(Illegals have been here for the past 30 yrs only reason it's an issue now is because republicans worry about those voting blocks.) but should they leave costs go out the roof... You know like the rising costs for fruits and veggies...You know those strawberries you love a 2.99/lb they just went up to 9.99/lb thanks to the white man picking them...yeah right....but in reality I've seen the migrant workers out there in the heat of the day bending over all day picking produce...Blacks ain't picking else in their lifetime ( they won't even pick the cotton outta their own medicine bottle) and you think a white person would be willing to spend all day in the hot fields picking produce... no I don't care how much it pays. When I see white grass cutting crews or labor pools driving around the cities looking for work then we can have this economic discussion...till then off on being an intellectual midget man.
Granted, domestic agriculture still relies on illegals to do most of the manual labor, but a group of economists at Iowa State University estimated that if illegal workers were replaced with US citizens, and given a proper living wage, that we would see a short term price increase for produce of a whopping 6 percent, which would then gradually decrease to around 3 percent. Saving 3 percent on produce is not enough to offset a deficit of 10 billion. And yeah, rural, lower class African Americans won't do that kind of work, when in 1993, Black peach pickers in Georgia were displaced by illegal immigrants. And another report showed that migrants displaced produce workers in Michigan. Until you can show me cold, hard proof that "Americans are unwilling to do the jobs illegals will," your point is nothing more than speculation.
And as for farming, it has largely gone the way of automation, so illegals have little impact, negative or positive, in that industry.
Tangential and not related to the discussion of how illegal immigrants negatively impact the US economy.absolutely as I stated above. Listen the system is flawed but the US govnt. has allowed this to for over 30yrs or more. Case in point...Cubans reach the US shore and they're allowed to stay...Haitians reach the shore and they're rounded up and sent home...and don't give me this political asylum BS...Haitians need it as much if not more so than Cubans...the working relationship between the US and Cuba is due to the US not being allowed to control or unduly influence the uber educated Castro...so as the US always does they demonize when they can't get their way.
What does any of this have to do with illegal immigration's impact on the US economy? Off on another tangent. Are you taking your Ritalin tonight?Does the article also go on to show the demographic breakdown of healthcare costs to the federal goven't. which is by and large the biggest driver of US debt. Does it count the tax or account for their slave labor earnings (how much they're underpaid) to begin with because they're considered to cheap labor. Does it also show tax loopholes, or shelters that corporations "slyly" partake in to avoid paying their fair share of taxes...
But I'll attempt to address it, anyway. The federal costs for providing healthcare for illegal aliens was over one billion dollars, so they add to what you call "the biggest driver of US debt." But I'm not sure how healthcare debt relates to this discussion.
And to let you know, the study was done by a non-partisan organization.
This isn't the 1960s anymore. The economy is globalized, businesses now outsource labor to foreign countries to save on costs rather than hire migrants, automation has taken a foothold in many of the industries that once relied on manual labor. Once upon a time it was true that if not for migrant workers, we would pay significantly more for produce, but that is simply not the case anymore.
The way you began this paragraph is how I know your understanding of politics is shallow. You whittle everything down to a simplified right/left dichotomy, so when someone speaks out against illegal immigration, they must be a redneck, Bush-loving teabagger. I'll tell you right now that I despise George W. Bush and his neo-con ideology. Neo-cons seek only to expand the Federal government, not limit it, and grow the American empire via military force. They have a very fundamentalist, "white man's burden" philosophy that it's their duty to democratize every third-world country on earth and bring to it a corporate utopia. And I'm not down with that. Sacrificing American lives for geo-political and corporate interests is de able. I'm also a shameless social liberal. If I had my way, porn would be on network TV during primetime. the FCC.Where were you and your intellectually challenged tea baggers when boy George was in office. Talk about limited goven't in businesses affairs...Bush went out of his way in support of big business. Were you screaming for limited goven't then...Prolly not. You can post link to conservative articles all day but you don't appear to have a basic understanding of the important role of govn't. Corporations can't be trusted to do right by the consumer or even their employees. The govn't is and should be "the parent" in this capitalist society. If not corporations run even more roughshod over lay people while only taking care of a few of their friends. I beleive in Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, Marxism, when it calls for it.![]()
And no, the government should not "be the parent." You understand little about how government intervention harms the free-market. Throughout history, the biggest tyrants, liars, murderers, and crooks have been a part of the government in some capacity, and you want them watchdogging the economy?
Kool, you mean well, but you really need to further your knowledge and quit relying on hack partisan cliche for your political point-of-view. Since you only see things in left and right, tells me they have your mind. I suggest ignoring the propaganda from both the Repugs and the Dems, and reading political material that isn't associated with either party.
But go ahead, stammer out a re ed, simplistic counter-argument and declare victory for yourself.
Political/Economical conversation aside...
The real question is why would anyone reply to Kool?
What a dumbass.
and just like a good lil girl you do exactly as I predicted...dude I owned you then and I'm owning you now...studying my posts religiously like you gots to pass the test....
don't forget to use the #2 pencil...
![]()
you can post a novel if you like to try and disprove / prove it but only it only makes matters worse for you....you're the one looking like a butthurt jackass not King Kool....talk about being troll free....what's good for the goose is good for the gander....
I guess....
This in thread is great, but why in the did so many of you come in and drop hints? This could've gone 10 pages of Brannon quotes before any of these jackasses would have figured it out, if not longer.
Next time you see greatness underway, step outta the way and appreciate.
Big props, Midnight. Somebody needs to black that name up
Lol, you must have really gotten under Tipsy's skin Kool.
Be careful though, he will stalk you if you continue to play.
Midget,
Now that you day in the sun has been fully realized, lets get back to the topic.
Have you ever picked up a basketball in your life?
What's really awesome is that history is dumb enough to try both at the same time.
"I knew you were joking, but how could anyone know you were joking unless they spent all day here, which I don't"![]()
It makes it even sweeter that he was trilled with all the hints. , even midnight threw hints out there.
"he doesn't know who he's talking to. Literally"

Why even try to argue with Kool? We all know he's an intellectual re , he never uses facts, he runs away from arguments and shifts goalposts constantly, uses all sorts of logical fallacies, and to top it off, he can't even use proper grammar. Everything he's said on this site has been one long run-on sentence.Just let him sit there like an idiot proclaiming victory.
It's pretty useful, because then you can see the other morons on this site (history, luva, 41, etc.).
lol. That ing moron couldn't get under my skin if he was a mite.
And Kool, Tea Party? Reading comprehension isn't your strong-suit. I'm all for raising taxes to educate moron inner-city teens like you.
That's not what I said idiot, lol.
He sat there and cut and pasted a past Spurstalk meltdown... think about that; dude is so tapped into Spurstalk that actually has the thread saved somewhere for quick access, then he double browsers it to perform his act. That's a level of "I'm-the-quintessential-Spurstalk-addict" I can never achieve. No reason for fellow bags like yourself to see otherwise.
I laughed at the fact that it takes a message board bag of epic proportions to be this tapped into a forum's history, indicative of unparalleled time invested.
But Midget can only play his trick once and now he'll be left to his own creativity in the future. Good luck with that.
This is particularly funny coming from someone who invested 12 years of his life trying to build a reputation as some sort of a basketball information Nazi on espn.com, then headed over here after getting his ass banned.
