Even Hawaii is on tsunami alert. Hope the folks in Guam, Wake Island etc have time to get to safety.

They have hours before they would even say a single wave. Around 3am in the morning for Hawaii.
Also, our coverage here in the US ing sucks now. I'm actually watching the Al Jazera English feed online because its better than watching CNN

Pretty much if it touches the pacific theres a watch. Very few places with a warning right now though.

One guy on the air for AJE that was a scientist at that center noted that some of the wave heights they were reading away from shore were 1-3m which he said was shockingly high for a wave far from shore.
Wow that is terrible. The pictures are incredible, watching buildings floating on the water and cars. My prayers go out to everyone over there.
