good for you, i hope you strive for more in the future but the field you're in is a tough field indeed and very saturated. good luck!
It's saturated with a bunch of people trying to make it in a Jewish world. non-issue.

Glad to see someone else thought Stern's response to Van Gundy was pathetic and pompous as . David Stern. How do they get rid of him? Is his position secure as long as he wants it? Can he be impeached or what? Seriously, this guy.

Are you tattooing on the side, or getting paid for it?

    Graphic design?

I assume you have your AA degree now, correct?

I apologize for the 3-part question, but we have a lot of catching up to do, tbh
this will be the last reply to any of you trolls for a while... i'm not trying to jump back on the wagon.

doing tattooing on the side and not getting paid for it at the moment, just learning. it's actually easier than i thought... you just need to be artistic and have a steady hand. the hardest thing about it is learning the human body, skin is very different in different areas of the body and that is where the complexity comes into play. also, learning what size needles do what (not hard to learn but in the beginning it was confusing), what inks are worth a damn (definitely the most important thing of all), and calibrating your machines the right way (second most important thing).

yep, doing design work as well as computer repair and whatnot around town. will be out at sxsw later this week for a meeting with a client of mine from houston, meeting with a client tomorrow here in town, and a couple of other potential clients have contacted me this past week. things are looking so-so but i never get my hopes up too much because this field of work totally sucks here in SA.

nope, no associates degree yet, but i will have it by the end of may when this semester is up. i don't think i've ever studied as hard as i have this semester. biology (non-major) isn't so hard but my professor refuses to teach anything related to the subject, but instead he'd rather talk about his life and whatnot over and over again. sucks but it's helping me refine my studying skills which were almost non-existent before this semester.

    for those here who blindly think that the NBA doesn't rig officiating...THIS is very interesting to see that SOMEONE has mentioned this;

When Stern goes to Orlando’s ownership group, he knows it’ll soon be wondering how much of an impact Van Gundy’s mouth will have on Howard and the Magic in the playoffs. Teams tremble over retribution from Stern and fear it in the form of officiating.
Big and small markets. Winning and losing franchises. Great and lousy general managers and coaches. Old and new owners. They all agree: Don’t push Stern too hard because there will be a price to pay. Better off bowing, kissing the ring and shuffling past him.
Anything goes in Stern’s NBA, except challenging the emperor. The league office never cares about criticism about most of its biggest stars, owners and coaches. In some cases, it’ll openly encourage it. Want to invite a call to your boss? That’s easy. Pull back the curtain on the commissioner.

Let's see how far the Magic go this post-season...

Why wouldn't anyone try to change this?

If this season ends and the lockout becomes a reality--I would sure love to see the players grow some balls and take their talents and form a new league...
    the NBA and Stern.
That would be an interesting idea but I'm guessing it would be hard to form a group with a) the business a en to compete with the league

    b) a way to work around the anti compete cluases they probably have in their contracts

There's a host of other reasons it wouldnt work.

    But its an interesting thought
