    I don't often watch games that don't involve the Spurs, but I watched this one after halftime. Very entertaining!

    This is where the "non-clutch" Kobe stats people get their fuel, though. I counted 5-15 FG, 3-4 FT (along with 5 rebounds and 2 turnovers) starting at 5:00 left in the 4th.

    The Knicks shocked me with that trade giving up two starters, cash & draft picks…I am pretty sure though that the Lakers could get by with out Luke & Artest if we got Melo…

    Could possibly be...I'm with you on the Luke part of the trade, but giving up the defense of Ron would be a harder sell for me. I like what Melo does offensively, but his defense isn't all that stellar.

    No, not really. Sportcamper claimed that Ron Artest is accepted in L.A. I showed that he wasn't accepted by several Lakers fans after that twitter incident, which proves that his acceptance by at least some Lakers fans is conditional.

    You can continue to bring up the fact that he won a championship if you want, but that doesn't make the above statement untrue.

    His acceptance is not the measuring stick. The measuring stick is who wins the last game played in June. Artest did.

    It was the measuring stick when the Celtics made us sorry in June of '08.

    It is the measuring stick when we returned the favor in June of '10.
