    Bonner apologist numero uno ^^^^^
I don't know if it's fair to blame Bonner; the coaching staff (everyone) knows his limitations, and they left him in over Splitter. That's like telling Parker to defend Gasol and then blaming Tony when he can't do it.

You obviously never played BB - when you have a defender that you know has no chance to block your shot you simply back them down and shoot over them - while Bonner may of been in perfect position and did everything right - he simply is not athletic, strong enough, or long enough to bother Gasol or any other average big - he is physically unable to do anything to effect another big's shot
this was a fallaway jumper going glass ... Gasol was the man with least offense on the floor ... he is big enough to shoot it over Timmy or Tiago as well

It's final. Memphis 111, Spurs 104. Spurs have first 3-game losing streak of the season. Tim Duncan for MVP?

I do NOT want Tony Parker to touch the ball in the last 5 minutes of any playoff game.

Manu gets the ball every possession in the last 5 minutes of a playoff game.

Parker must not get the ball. He's proven time and time again that he falters in crunch time,.
Yeah let's overreact after 2 meaningless RS games when sta iscs on the last DECADE says he is one of the most clutch of the league

I don't care about anything else at this point except for the number 1 seed. It's slipping away. Spurs have to have that. I know they are limping into the playoffs, but they have to keep that seed.
Still going to take a huge collapse for them to lose it but its definitely way more possible now that it was even a week ago.

With the Lakers emerging and easy schedule and the Spurs slipping at the wrong time, we may be the 2nd seed. If so, what a waste of an early season effort.

I wanted Splitter in there more than anybody ... but in this play Splitter also would only have his arm up and Gasol would make the shot as well ... it was a tough fadeaway banker

These last three games are just symptoms surfacing from problems many of us have pointed out for a while now.
Symptoms, my ass. Do they have deficiencies? Of course. Just like every other team. But if this coaching staff would just stop ing around, they'd have already wrapped up home court. As it is, they're going to have to sweat it out until the end.

itztoore , I'm not a Bonner apologist, you dumb inbred hick. If you were capable of comprehending my posts in that thread, you'd know that.

I don't give a who's tired tomorrow, I want that game played like it's game 7. As many minutes as it takes out of whoever it takes. It's time to get back on track, secure home court, build confidence and start knocking teams like the Trail Blazers down a peg. I'm sick and tired of teams like the Grizzlies and Trail Blazers acting as if they're the 1st seed when they play this team. A ing message needs to be sent. I want that team stomped on and I want a hard foul early on a key player to set the tone.

Gasol backed bonner down to right where he wanted to, Splitter wouldn't have been backed down as easily, plus he could have challenged the shot better. Or at least reached up high enough to get a hand in Gasol's face

Bull . Bonner gave up position way more than Splitter would have because he's not nearly as physical. Splitter being in was obviously the decision to make.

exhibit A: Spurs give up 55% shooting

exhibit B: Spurs get out rebounded by -13

exhibit C: Spurs give up 58 points in the paint

exhibit D: Spurs give up 17 pts off turnovers

i don't understand how we only loss by 7. we were lucky for that.

Guy, it's not the coaches fault that an old team, despite having severely managed minutes, has run out of gas after leading the West all year.

22-10 run to finish game by Griz. ing pathetic.
Yep that small ball defense is really great. Really outweighs the offense we get from it.

And what clown said that they want LA to lose??? U want LA to win so NO drop to 8th. If the Spurs can't hold the first seed then that is on them, not because LA didn't lose.

He's gotta be the most overplayed player in NBA history. I don't know how the keep overplaying him.

Somehow he manages to always get more minutes than he should. LOL it's re ed.

Bottom line was Spurs needed a defencive stop there but they went with an offensive line up... Pretty stupid.
