I would prefer that he never shoots and simply concentrates on rebounding the ball and passing it back out. I konw of one guy who became a hall of famer doing that.
    Sorry but that's ridiculous.

Asking Blair to do what he does best and forget the rest is probably the most logical basketball advice you have ever heard in your life..........

unless you would prefer he start set shooting threes.

He plays with no sense of urgency. He out there looking for hi light plays which he doesn't get and his defense is nonexistent. He did get robbed of a charge, but other than that his guy scored pretty easily. Splitter may be soft on offense but he is amuch better defender than Blair his picks are much better than Blairs and his court awareness is miles ahead of Blairs.

So the choice is between him only rebounding OR shooting threes?

I think you're short selling the potential of Blair and what he can do. He's quick enough and seems to have decent enough post moves to help out with on the offensive end. His short jump shot also seems to have improved some from last year. This being only his second year, seems way to early to give up on that aspect of the game.

His ability to get his shot blocked far out weighs his current ability to put the ball in the basket. look I want him to be great too, but his offensive game is just not that good and takes his concentration away from what is the best part of his game.

The Spurs needs Blair to rebound the ball. If we need Blair to score we are already in trouble. With all of our shooters Blair needs to kick the ball back out.

he needs a jumper, he's worse than Udoka near the rim.
