I'd call it a moderate to serious hyperextension.

Bynum has already admited, his knee ALWAYS hurts, no matter what. Sometimes it's worse and sometimes less. He has his knee drained all the damn time. This injury could make it a lot worse.
I've seen people walk away with torn ligaments before only to collapse later. The fact that he walked off means very little.

Lets hope thats the case. He is out for the game and will not travel with the team to Cowtown so we'll see.
Even though it's just a hyper extended knee it looked pretty bad. He might be out a while, he might even miss the 1st round of the playoffs or even the 2nd or maybe even more.
I looked the healing time up right now and it said it usually takes 2-4 weeks for just a mild hyper extended knee to heal.
IMO LA won't make it past the 1st round without Bynum should they play a team like POR.

Because I legitimately feel bad for the kid at this point. Every time it looks like he's getting going, this happens. I hate the out of the Lakers, but I wanna beat 'em with our best going up against their best.
