I think the majority of this board has been saying Pop is a head. I think you're seeing one small aspect of that now.
Pop resting the guys for the next season. Well that's good.

TD's BDAY today....he might as well have aged 20 years..
Watching this is brutal....but I will watch every minute
I hope Hill is traded this off-season, maybe I'll tweet that to that choking .
I bet the Grizzlies are gonna give the Thunder a bit of trouble if they advance. I actually think Tony Allen can bother Durant.
Barkley looks like a genius. I knew MEM would be trouble, but I really never considered the Spurs losing the series.

Spurs is not winning game 5 btw
Pop will quit just like in 09 vs the Mavs
Ok.
It's not over.
I was sure to win 3 straight games when the series began. Now it's time to do it.
Just sunk in that the Spurs have only scored 26 points this half with 3 minutes left.![]()

Absolutely pathetic. I expected a of a lot more from the Spurs tonight.
End of an era. Duncan is done and it's time for Pop to go. Manu's getting old and is always injured. Parker may still be in his prime, but I'm not sure if he's the guy you build around. Might be a rough 2 or 3 years for the Spurs.
All good things come to an end. No one can take away all the success the team had, but those days are now officially part of the past.
You bas s cost me $100
+1, my ass will be staying home, or maybe I'll take my daughter to see "Rio."
Spurs outscored 50 to 26 in the second half - and it ain't over yet!
jimrome Jim Rome
Willie Mays stumbling around in CF for the Mets and Joe Namath getting murdered as a Ram think this Spurs' performance is sad to watch.
You're completely right but I'm talking about heart and desire and those guys have none
There is nothing to respect about Memphis... they aren't that good, we just didn't know the Spurs were so unprepared and they are definitely facing their worst matchup - we thought the problem was with their bigs but it's also with the guards as well.
I don't think Lakers would present so many problems to the Spurs.
Pop reacted late with Splitter IMO - you can clearly see he can guard Gasol ok.
Also I don't think Memphis will be able to beat OKC - they are going to get raped.
Sad but true. This team has run its course. It was a fantastic ride to 3 championships along the way, but all great things must come to an end... pity it had to be like this though.
If i was a Spurs fan in SA, id do whatever i could to see Game 5 live. It may well be the last time you see some of the pieces that brought the Spurs so much success (Pop included)
