the bad calls mount up. Like 4-5 in the first half, you forget about, and then in crunch time, your main man's got 5 fouls, and you're like how did that happen. It's just insurance. But with the misses and turnovers, the Horneys aren't helping their cause.
Calls are pretty much even, 9 to 10. NO's going to wonder how/why they let a 9 point lead evaporate and gave all the momentum back to the Lakers. Poor coaching IMO, Paul should have been back in the game.

Ariza's killing them on offense with his one-on-one display.....if 2 bigs try to block whatever you throw up, you think someone would be open somewhere around the basket.
Lakers hit a home run trading Ariza for Artest

Ariza is one of the most frustrating players to watch

He's just trying too hard at the wrong times. Should be an excellent 2nd half

bad quarter for the Hornets, might have turned the series to the Lakers
That might be true. They turned ball over several times and let the Lakers get way too many second chances.

This bears repeating because we know the Spurs don't (unless we talking back to back 1st round exits).

tbh Hornets turned the ball over too much in inopportune times. They can't turn the ball over when the game is close. That's a potential possession just given away.

He's hitting the open J's but forcing everything else imo. The Lakers' defense is active tonight but they've gotten better shots throughout the series than what he's throwing up.

I knew Kobe was faking it. He just wanted an excuse.

Actually I take it back. It was a foot injury. He had "foot in mouth syndrome" after telling the Hornets that they had woke him up after the hard foul, and then commence to stinking up the court.

Calls might be even but are we talking about good calls or bad calls? That's the question. If the Horneys are got smacked in the face and bleeding, and it's getting called, fine, but on the other hand if they're being called for hand checks and phantom , it's not even.
