Should posters who keep referring to Neal's alleged rape be banned from Spurs Talk?

It is what it is. He is not considered a sex offender as he goes to schools and camps, but the stigma of the crime he was accused off will carry that for as long as Neal lives in the public spotlight, I don't blame people for being sensitive to it, it is a sensitive issue, but what bothers me more is how some of the people here reacted to Blair's loss of his Grandmother, some of the comments were very classless IMO, you gotta separate the man and the game. That goes for Neal also.

If there was anything to substantiate the unproven allegation (and he was exonerated by a jury), we would never have signed him. Neal isn't the only Spur player attacked by these bigots. At the least deny them from having on their profile that they are a Spur fan. That can not by definition be a fan. Their posts would only make sense if we properly indicated who they most sound like: Laker Fan. Switch their team selection to them or create a new team called Fake Fan and brand them with it.

The man was acquitted and exonnerated by a jury when he was just another black athlete accused of rape that a typical jury would have sent to prison without a qualm.

Personally I'm getting sick of these guys on Spurs Talk who keep referring to Neal with this ugly smear talk. One guy even has taken the username Gary Neal and has the permanent comment "I raped, period."

Neal seems like a good, hard-working kid who has paid more for the allegations --loss of scholarship at La Salle before verdict, walk on at Towson, undrafted by NBA, worked in Europe to prove himself, etc.--than seems warranted.

Spurs Fans at Spurs Talk don't need their comments. I think Kori should take action and just ban these creeps.

Its a nice thought, but you aren't going to get all of the folks on this site to stop cracking on Neal. It is what it is. Neal is playing confidently, so I don't think its affecting him.
