With 2 minutes left in game 4 of the Lakers / Hornets series, I started keeping track of the number of times Reggie Miller mentioned Kobe. I counted 26 times. In 2 minutes of game time.
Go Mavs.
I hope the Mavs beat the Lakers, definitely.

OP aside, I can assure you there are very few Mavs fans pulling for the Spurs tonight.
I am DEFINITLY pulling for the mavs, the lakers tbh, but I can guarantee you there are 0% of Dallas fans not cheering for Memphis lol
+1
this is how i see it![]()
Mavs-Lakers is for me a bit like England-Germany in soccer. I wish they would blow each other to pieces, and both lose, but that's not really possible. So I have to pick the lesser of 2 evils (or as we say in French, pick between plague and cholera), and clearly the Mavs are the lesser evil. And I wouldn't mind seeing Dirk going back to the WCF.
So there it is: Go Mavs Go!
(also... just check my sig)
I hate the mavs and Lakers.. But I can't decide who I hate more, Kobe or Cuban. I think its a tie. Although its not possible.. I'm going to assume hoping they both lose! Neal with it.
I though portland has a much better chance of beating the lakers.
hmmm.... defeating us twice the past decade, with one of those years being a great chance at a repeat, doesn't cons ute for a pebble... and one of our wins came with Dirk injured.... Your statement is 4th grade level at best.
I can't bring myself to say it out loud, but Go Mavs.
I definitely hate the Mavs more than the Lakers.
The way I see it, if the Lakers win the le, oh well, they already have 69 others so it's not a big deal. If the Mavs win it all, we no longer have scoreboard on them and we will never hear the end of it.
I used to HATE Ray Allen more than any man in the league and because of that, I wished failure upon the Celts. But once they won their le, I no longer care if they win 1 or 69 others. Because once you win one ring, you're part of the fraternity. My goal is to keep the assholes of the league out of that fraternity.
Go Lakers and Go Celts. F the Mavs and F the Heat.
Oh, and if nothing else, just picture Mark Cuban doing some feminine, y dance at center court after the Mavs won the le. That alone is enough to wish failure upon them.
the lakers I hope the Mavs curbstomp them.
Well then you .
I dislike the mavs, but I HATE the lakers, so I will be rooting for the mavs, I never thought I'd be saying that..lol
I would pull for the lakers if it wasn't for their fans, players, coach, city, and existence............... wait, I have to pull for the mavs...

I won't get any Mavs gear, but I will wear my Spurs logo Lakers suck shirt.
Glad most aren't in total hate of the Mavs and prefer them over the Lakers. In most part, Spurs fans are classy.
I will have to strongly support the mavs since I have a strong hatred for the Lakers. Mavs are the lesser of the two evils plus the spurs evened the scoreboard with them by beating them last year. Honestly lol if it came down to Team Afghanistan vs the Lakers I would root for team Afghanistan.
This.
I will be rooting for the Mavs be default. I guess that means the Lakers will win. .
LOL yall should root for the Lakers ESPECIALLY if you complete the comeback vs. the Grizz.
You guys have no "stones" you should want to end our run like you did the first 3peat ....but hey that's just me.
the repeat would not have been as sweet if we didnt get revenge on Boston last year ...
So we should take a page out of the Laker fan's book and hope for a knee injury to Andrew Bynum then?![]()
Mehh, Perk missed 1.5 games and Bynum was injured in 2008 so the evens out ...tbh
Just saying, during the season it was all bluster and swollen chest about taking out the two time champs, now you rooting for the Mavs, Heat OKC anyone but the Lakers ... my how the mighty have fallen ...
Don't kid yourself...ABLA (anybody but the Lakers) has been a mantra around here every year I've watched. It has nothing to do with whether or not the Spurs are winning. It has everything to do with Bryant being someone so easy to hate that even his coach hates him.
