Yeah, he hasn't played well at all so far.
I didn't know Paul Pierce played for Memphis.![]()
Pretty much. They saw the soft-ass Spurs in the first and a Thunder team they beat 3/4 times in the second, and thought that looked better than the side of the bracket with Bynum and Gasol.
Yeah, he hasn't played well at all so far.

That was such bull . That should be an offensive foul.
Let's see them beat a proven contender like the Lakers. Then we'll talk about their place in history.
In that case, I'd agree with you.
I just don't see them making that much noise after the SA series. It's a superstar's league and they don't have a true superstar, while OKC has one (two if you wanna include Westbrook). OKC is also a much more physical team than the Spurs were and I think that Ibaka/Perkins/Mohammed will wear down Randolph and Gasol throughout the series.
good half by Memphis, Z-Bo will go to work in the 2nd half.
Y'all better worry about getting by the Mavs first.![]()
Westbrook gets the most pussy calls in the league.
place in history? I just saying they're not a regular 8th seed and Laker fan acts like I'm inducting the team into the hall of fame.
I don't think it would be that crazy a comparison with a healthy Gay.
Randolph is making himself their "true superstar."
The amount of calls that Oklahoma City gets is ridiculous.
It's because he attacks so fast that the refs cannot see what's actually happening.
OMG Westbrook is getting pussy calls
Dice was laying out suckas, Bonner was clawing people. The Spurs were playing at a physical level I haven't seen in a couple years. Thunder aren't physical, they defend you with athleticism and length. Their only muscle guy is Perkins. Ibaka is a shot blocker but not physical (picture Dice and Z-Bo going at it, that's physical).

I'm calling it now. Grizzlies and Heat in the Finals.![]()
I just always find it hilarious that any team that seems to be performing in the playoffs/executing/etc is reminiscent of an past Spurs 'chip squad...and a "poor man's" version at that.
You won't have to worry about that next round.
Neither will the Spurs.
The Dude has returned.![]()
Do you honestly not remember that in '99 DRob was still good enough to be the #1 on the Spurs? Try to remember what that DRob and Duncan (in his 2nd year) looked like.
There may be hope for the NBA after all if Memphis wins the Western Conference!![]()
The Bum has returned.![]()
