    gang signs?

And son it's a well known fact that like 80% of NBA players smoke in the off season. So the what? The fact that someone can smoke weed and still be a great athlete says a lot about how re ed it is that weed is illegal in the first place.

Paul did take wide open shots. I guess the only game you watched was game six.

Paul had 22.5 points on .545% shooting, 6.7 rebounds and 11.5 assists per game. I think that qualifies as "kicking ass."
No it doesn't. If a player goes 7/10 in one half and then comes out and goes 1/3 in the next half that's a 8/13 game. Looks good on paper but is he REALLY kicking ass? Or is he disappearing and passing up shots to inferior shooters and watching his team get their asses kicked in the process? That's the typical Chris Paul game....hey, I was unaggressive in the 2nd half and watched Bellinelli go 1/10 but my numbers look damn good don't they?

son its a guilty pleasure and addiction. its the same reason why the WWE made $500 million last year yet everyone knows that it is scripted, sports entertainment. its the same reason ghazi allows his wife to have sex with strange, black men yet he knows its wrong.

but son mainly because of the smack talk
That's an amazingly stupid attempt at rationalization.

22.5, 6.7 and 11.5 is not kicking ass?

If only Paul shot 0 for 9 on 3-pointers in Game 1. Or maybe he should have gone 4-18 in Game 3.

No, he would have really taken care of business if he had gone 6-22 in Game 4 and turned the ball over on a crucial possession.

    That's kicking ass.

The Pacers and Hawks wouldn't even have sniffed the playoffs in the West. They suck.

22.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 11.5 assists is "not trying," apparently.

If only he shot far worse, rebounded worse, passed less, and turned the ball over more. That's the kind of passion he needed to beat the Lakers.

Which do you prefer? Pretty numbers or disappearing in the 2nd half of games. I'd give Chris Paul all the credit in the world if he were putting up those numbers and staying aggressive for a whole game...but he doesn't. Hornets fans on this very board ripped him a new one for being passive all throughout the regular season and it carried over into the playoffs in 4 out of 6 games.

Look at Lebron. He put up golly-gee-whiz videogame numbers against the Celtics last year in the playoffs and then did a Chris Paul imitation and looked like he didn't give a as the Celtics beat down the Cavs. Numbers never tell the whole story.

    lol

Maybe if you keep claiming that Paul didn't show up in the second half during the series, it will be true. I guess the Hornets won Games 1 and 4 because other Hornets were the ones coming up big.

But you can keep your inefficient chucking and I'll have my "not trying."
