Jesus I would almost let Dirk drive to the rim at this point and try to challenge his shot at the basket.

Time for Durant to stat-pad some more, even though he just had a crucial turnover, when the game was actually still compe ive..

Wasnt only Mavs fans I said he was way too aggressive to guard dirk you need to be patient like Bowen or Battier ..
True. He's a shot blocker who works best coming from the week-side. He's not a great 1v1 defender. He couldn't guard Randolph and got benched in crunch time in favor of Collison. Shouldn't expect a better outcome against Dirk.

Isn't this the same thing Dirk did in game 1 vs SA last year? I remember every Spurs fan proclaiming him god then too. Lets hold off on the coronation.

Ibaka's got to try to coax Dirk into trying to drive into the help at the rim or taking a more difficult, midrange shot, but I'll still live with him over the doubles and automatic fouls by smaller defenders right now. That still may change because I'm sure they're going to throw different looks at Dirk moving forward, but he's still the best defender.

The German army is unstoppable. Hitler's spirit lives on in Dirk Nowitzki. Das Panzer is a one man wrecking machine. He's doing what Hitler failed to do in his time - and that's take over. The German is slowly but surely advancing. Who can stand up to this behemoth? All hope is lost.

The foul calls he got in that game were out of control. This game is a mix of him going off and bad officiating.

If only Tony Romo could shut up the DFW sports fanbase with a playoff performance like this.

Dirk got ted on before this season by local fans and even media. Romo gets it now.

Kidd's complete lack of confidence in scoring has forced him to make a ridiculous amount of poor decisions in the playoffs, so far..it's impressive that the Mavs have made it this far, despite Kidd's incompetence and stupidity..

I was one of the FEW non-Michael Jordan fans around during that time, but I loved every aspect of the old Knick-Bulls rivalries (minus the outcome ). Always compe ive.....Heat and Knicks too. I remember going crazy when Starks got that jam on Pippen and Grant iirc (unless Jordan snuck in there) and thought that would turn the momentum completely. Fun times.
I also miss when Shawn Kemp was good.

    And no tech.
