I think everyone is taking a long hiatus whether the Mavs win or not.
Ever since the end of our last le run we've been subjected to bag Laker fans gloating about back-to-back championships after the Gasol robbery. Before that we had to listen to idiot Mav fans in 2006, but their chokejob in the Finals eased the pain. If Dallas wins it this year this site will become unbearable with all the classless Mav trolls. That'll make it 3 straight seasons of our most hated teams winning it.

Sorry I'm rooting for Dirk to get his ring. I've accepted the fact that Terry will get one too but I don't really care. I would not be able to stomach seeing LeBron win one. And as for the trolls... meh, we'll just have to give the Mavs their props and go to the next season.

There's only 1 or 2 Heat trolls on this board if I recall correctly, so them winning it would be of little nuisance to the board. Mav vermin are all over this site and it'll only get worse if they win. Go Heatles.
Dirk is an all-time great. In all due respect, he deserves a ring.
Deserving and getting are two different things.
But I really don't know my point there.
I used to agree ^ but I realized Lebron will win a ring sooner or later. He is fairly young so chances are he will win multiple rings. Hopefully he won't win more than 3.
On the other hand this is pretty much Cuban's last chance. I rather see Cuban not win a ring than delay the inevitable.

I don't mind seeing kidd and dirk get a ring.. even marion... it sucks that they would have to give one to terry too. but I'm thinking the bulls winning is best for me. I would like okc to win, but we know that is not going to happen. They are too young and stupid! They piss me off with their shot selection. Anyways. I won't ditch the site during the spurs rebuilding years. I'm a true Spurs fan.

If you've spent any time in the NBA forum in the last year it would be obvious that the Mavs fans here are perfectly capable of being unbearable with or without a ring. I'd rather see Dirk get one than Lebron right now. I'll cling to the glimmer of hope that the Bulls and Thunder rally and there will be LOLs for all.

Though stupid polls like the one on ESPN ranking Dirk higher than Duncan on the All-time greats' list would make me reconsider...
