Barngani makes Bonner look like Dwight Howard on defense. No thanks.
If Parker is being traded, you don't agree that more offense will be needed? Bargnani scored 21 a game last year, and he scored those 21 in a variety of ways.

So now that I look at this 3-team deal, Sacramento got John Salmons (maybe) and the No. 10 pick, and traded Beno? What happened to wanting a veteran PG to lead the team?

Here's the trade according to Chad Ford: 2 former Spurs Beno and Stephen Jax along with Shaun Livingston and the 19th pick go to Milwaukee. Charlotte gets the #7 pick and Corey Maggette and the Kings get John Salmons and the 10th pick

lol they are so behind, lol

If Parker is being traded I believe that tanking will be needed.

If SAC does move the 10th and Salmons to SA for TP and RJ, RJ makes about $6 mil more over next 3 years. Salmons' 4th year is unguaranteed.

I'm open for change, but please God no.

The 10th pick and Salmons for TP and RJ? NO. If the Kings wanted TP so bad they would have offered their 7th pick when they had it, and a couple of their players.....

Trading for Bustnani is the worst of the worst case scenarios. He's literally the worst defender in the league. Trying to rebuild around him, which Pop would probably try to do seeing how he loves Bonner so much, would be a colossal mistake.

    Stay far away.

I don't think you can match a pick + Salmons for both RJ and TP. Some other players would need to be involved. Maybe Caspi?

Why? I hate this at ude amongst Spurs fans. You realize if Manu didn't get hurt in the last game of the regular season(Popo should be fired), that we could very well have been hoisting another banner last year? If you don't believe that, you're just entirely too pessimistic. We're a better team than the Mavs.

No offense, but if I just wanted entertainment, I'd watch an NFL game.

When it comes to the Spurs, I want championships. That's why I'm either for one more run or the start of a total rebuild. Some sort of hopeless farewell tour or a halfway rebuild would be the two worst scenarios in my book. In fact, that would end up taking away any entertainment value for me personally.

That said, I see where your coming from ... and the Spurs may very well do it just to sell tickets. For example, even if it makes perfect sense to trade Ginobili, I could see Holt vetoing the idea just so there wouldn't be a total financial collapse.
I don't see it from a ticket-selling viewpoint. They can't sellout games now even with the big 3. I also haven't spent any money on the Spurs for tickets or merchandise since the re-upped Bonner, as I swore I wouldn't as long as he's on the team.

I just don't enjoy seeing slugs like RJ or Bonner stinking it up, regardless of contender status. The Spurs don't have to be contenders for me to enjoy watching them. Some of my fondest memories as a fan was the injury-laden lottery year. I watched nearly every game, and even though they were getting crushed, it was worth watching. There was intrigue . . . was Cory Alexander developing before my eyes . . . could Jamie Feick turning into a legit player . . . Wow, this Sasser kid isn't very good, is he? Oh well, he's not tied up long term or anything . . . Hey, the lottery's coming up! Maybe we can get that Colgate kid to help Robinson with our 5th pick or whatever . . .

Jefferson crapping around for 30 minutes? That's no mystery there, or hope. All misery. Bonner tooling about for 22 minutes, a constant reminder of front office mistakes . . . all misery.

if we are still trading with Sac for the 10th pic.

Then I expect it will be GHill for 10 and Casspi.

edit: Ghill and Danny green for Casspi works on espn trade machine due to Jerrels trade exception

That would be the epic turd towers... Ginger + Bustnani! Both standing in the perimeter shooting 3 pointers while Manu and Neal play PF and Center. Brilliant!

McDonald: Guessing Kings-Bucks-Cats deal means Tony Parker remains in SA for time being. Unless something else is cooking.

It blows me away how underrated Parker has been on this forum for so long. First it was Parker = Chris Whitney. Then it was "let's throw him away and hand the team over to Beno" and now it's George Hill mania. Unbelievable. Part of me would love to see the Parker haters get their wish to come true so they could see how bad the team would be in their scenarios, but I'll still be the one sporting black and silver when they go back to not giving a like the old days when you couldn't get 5000 people in Hemisfair Arena.

Salmons and #10 for TP and RJ? WTH? Suddenly that Casspi trade looks good in comparison.

I'm hoping it's Hill & Jefferson for #10 and Salmons
