This is getting crazy. Why are we trying to get into the lottery so bad lmao
Only some kind of wonder prospect would be worth any of the proposed trades.

In the end this will probably lead to nothing and this 50 page thread will look pretty silly.

Scott Howard-Cooper Kings acquisitions were NOT to flip them into a deal with the Spurs, I am told.

Turkoglu got a raw deal from Spurs fans. He was damn good in his early Orlando years. And he was a quality player for the majority of his one season with the Spurs.

Spurs fans fail to realize that sample-size in attempts/opportunity in the playoffs is important to correctly assess a players ability. (Even the "clutch" Robert Horry had several poor series throughout his career, but with adequate opportunity, the man performed really well at times--law of averages theory).

Turkoglu had 3 bad games against the Lakers in 04' (shooting-wise) and all of sudden Spurs fans make him out to be Jud Buechler in terms of skill.smh

    Typical moronic assessment.
Turkoglu had 6 horrible games against LA and was the biggest reason the Lakers could pack 4 people in the lane and shut down a red-hot Parker and Duncan. This was a team on a ridiculous winning streak that was completely shut down by one mentally-soft player who Pop coddled. If you replace Turkoglu with Jefferson that team almost certainly gives Detroit a monster of a series in 04, and maybe even takes them out.

evans better be included if tp is
You're a funny guy. I could see them trading LeBron James-lite for a 30-year-old Parker, making 10+ million over the next 3 years.

Spurs moving Parker and for the 10 would officially mean that Pop and RC have gone brain dead.

This is going to be a long night. Don't the Spurs know I'm supposed to be relaxing
I doubt they'll pull the trigger on anything that's being offered. It might just be pretty uneventful tonight.

You know when a trade doesn't much sense for a team (Kings), sometimes it's a little fishy and something else might be in the works. Probably.

The photos of Turkoglu and his purse summed up his season perfectly.

The Scola trade and the contract weren't enough evidence?

I always assumed those were momentary lapses of judgment.

That 04' series made me miss the out of SJax. Had SJax just taken the 1st ing offer the Spurs made him, I believe the Spurs would have repeated that year with him. Instead we were stuck with a mental midget in Turkoglu... .

If the Spurs trade Parker and keep RJ, RJ's value could skyrocket into relation of where it is now, simply because he'll be getting more touches and a better rhythm next year. Then they could trade him at the break, if need be.

That 04 series pisses me off way more than the Dallas loss in 06. That was an all-time great Spurs team. Even though they had a juggernaut waiting for them in Detroit while 06 would have been a guaranteed le had they won game 7, seeing that Spurs team sabotaged by one player was hard to watch.

But he can't shoot, so that's a moot point.
