smh jospeh is a great defender
    This is true.

I don't like the pick but one thing is certain:

Corey Joseph is above average sized for his position and a good defender at his position.

Corey Joseph is insanely mature for a 19 year old and is so level headed, it almost screams "Spur"

Corey Joseph is a low TO ball handler

Corey Joseph can shoot the 3 from NBA range

    So....it's not all bad

So basically anyone who screamed for the Spurs to get bigger and get back to playing defense have to quiet down a bit.

ESPN didn't help the enthusiasm for Joseph among Spurs fans with those routine highlights.

I'm guessing the Spurs heard Miami or another team would jump on Cory early in the second round, before the 42nd pick.

Joseph is the guard version of Ian. We do better in the 2nd round, anyway.

NO freakin way this kid is better then Darrious Morris.....not even in the same ing league...He will be waived or put into D league for his career.....This goes right up there with the Scola trade and the signing of RJ...another stupid move!!!!!!!!!!!

I am stunned by the Joseph pick. Definitely a reach at 29 (would have been there at 42 most likely). I would have preferred a big man to be stashed at 29.

Ryan Feldman:If the Spurs do trade Tony Parker, they'll need another PG because Joseph won't be able to start as a rookie.

Wins the "No Award" for the evening.

We have no idea if Joseph could have been at #42. 3 years, we all thought that Spurs reach a lot to get Hill while Lakers were ready to pick him just after Spurs.
