Beating a person to near death is not treating them nicely, no matter how you spin it.

Could be wrong, but I always thought it was agnostics are the ones who don't care enough to believe in god's existence/non-existence one way or another and atheists are the ones who have the firm belief that god doesn't exist. Personally, I think anyone who describes his/her self as a true agnostic who seriously doesn't ever give god's existence one iota of thought is kidding his/her self.
If I had to bet on it, I'd say god doesn't exist, but I'm not firm enough to fully believe one way or the other. One thing I do know for sure, is that if god does exist, he's not a phobe who sends all but one religion to " ". He doesn't give cancer patients miracles while ignoring amputees, and he sure as doesn't communicate directly with Remmington_Bo telling him to drop out of school and work at Jiffylube when he could be warning Haitians about an Earthquake he has the power to stop.

it doesn't approve of slavery it merely tells about how life existed and how it should be handled in those times...and eventually slavery was stamped out...but God never intended 's to be his way. Listen guy it boils down to one simplistic concept here...
God created Adam and Eve a free (non slaved) Man and Woman and married them for the heterosexual lifestyle...He didn't create slaves and marry them Adam and Steve...period...
