How can people say it was a slam dunk case if all they had was cir stantial evidence? like that might work on a poor black man but a white woman? Yeah ing right.
IMHO, the Prosecution painted Casey Anthony as a and not a murderer. It isn't so much that she was found innocent as to being found "not guilty" due to the poor case the prosecution had. There simply wasn't enough evidence to prove she did it beyond a reasonable doubt. If the facts don't fit...you must acquit.

Sorry, she may be a bad person, but she's not a killer. You can't make assumptions, especially when there is NO DNA evidence linking Casey to the murder.
Tragedy that the little girl died, but you can't convict people of murder with no hard evidence.
The prosecution team lost this one big time. The laughing lawyer didn't help their cause any either.
I kinda feel bad for Casey Anthony. For the past 3 years, her life was ruined. Not only did she lose her baby girl, she was demonized by the media. She will, undeservedly, be looked at for the rest of her life the same way OJ was. Only difference, OJ deserved it.

Just heard on CNN one of the alternate jurors said she didn't believe a body was ever in the trunk of Casey's car and the body didn't produce any hard evidence against her.
Sadly, this case shows just how easy it is to kill your kid and get away with it. You just have to hope your kid becomes skeletonized before being discovered. It helps if you live in a warm, humid climate.
I guess it was only a matter of time before Manny rolled this out.
