In N Out Burgers are way better than Whataburger's. Whataburger fries are way better than In N Out's. But as said before, better fries aren't that important. In N Out overall is far better than Whataburger.
Also, anytime I'm in the mood for an overpriced, burnt to nasty ass burger, along with a giant cup of grease seasoned lightly with french fries, I'll go to Five Guys.

In N Out fries aren't that great, but that's why you get them Animal Style.

This has never been my experience at Five Guys, though I will agree that their fries are overrated.
I never get their fries anyway though unless I'm seriously hungry.
Whataburger is pretty good if you don't eat it too much, but they take too long and are completely overpriced as well. Never had In n Out, but I'm sure it's more of the same.
Local places are always better anyway. Like I said, Hut's in downtown Austin is ing great, as is Waterloo Ice House. Mighty Fine is also pretty good. AND you can get a beer at those places if you're in the mood.
You'd better try potatoes "à la sarladaise" (cooked in duck fat with lots of garlic and parsley) with gizzard confit...
Better than any of this plastic taste you're talking about....
There are plenty other better fastfood burger joints.

i could understand why some wouldn't like the burger but the fries are awesome. I've only been one time tho, because it's expensive imho
Yeah, that only helps In-N-Outs argument. They don't franchise their restaurant out to dumb mother ers who cut corners making their food.
And yeah, I don't consider 5 guys a part of the conversation when a full meal there costs like 10 bucks. At In-N-Out I can get 2 cheeseburgers animal style for less than 5 bucks.
Ok, I finally gave in cause you lardasses kept talking about burgers...most of those places don't exist where I live, but there's a Five Guys about 6-7 miles away so i got a cheeseburger and fries.
Never again.
Once I placed my order it took 15-20 minutes for Leroy and Jamal to make it, at which time I was drinking a gallon of Mr. Pibb and trying to avoid making eye contact with any of the turgid creatures in that joint.
By the time my order was ready I was full from all the Pibb, but I forced the food down anyway cause I just s ed out $12 for it. The burger was good, the fries were greasy as , and now I feel like I'm carrying a small child in my gut. The ride back was long so by the time I got home a lot of it had been digested and I couldn't boot.
Now I feel a food coma coming on and I want to hibernate till fall.
Never again.

Next time you fools go to WB, get the number 5, ex lettuce, sub mayo, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos and you'll forget about In N Outs animal style special sauce concoction of mayo, mus , ketchup, and . Whataburger is way superior. it's not even close. In N out is overrated. If i want a small burger with chit for fries, i'll go to Steak N Shake

Waterburger is a couple dried ass buns with some tasteless meat they have to put jalapenos on just to make you think it has something worthwhile in it. Put all that on a turd it would taste about the same.
A quality burger doesn't need all that to be edible. Waterburger is a hole. I have no idea why you yokels think it's so great. Wendy's kicks it's ass and they aren't that great either.

if by some odd chance you're serious, then. i'm a whataburger fan, but the only way you could possibly say a burger there is better than one at in n out is if you're some nonconformist for the sake of being nonconformist, y former ISSJHSS mookie crew, "bush is a punkass " laptop sticker having fatass.
I've been 3 times, at 3 different locations. Each time, I get a bucket of the greasiest, most disgusting fries on earth, and a burger that is so burnt it's crunchy. Never going there again.
Or if you're an inbred Texas got who thinks Texas is awesome for hanging its flag the same height as the American flag
